Yesterday’s first report featured five ranked setters in the Kansas Class of 2025.
This second report flips the research page and features five unranked setters in the same class. Look for these athletes to be added during the next round of updates. Each finished with more than 300 assists as juniors and will be looking to guide their teams to winning seasons during their senior campaigns.
Kadance Heumann, 5’5”, S, Rose Hill, ‘25
Heumann has posted consistent assist numbers in the past two seasons for the Rose Hill Rockets. She has finished with back-to-back seasons of 500-plus assists. Playing in 73 sets as a junior she recorded 595 assists. She can also play a little defense registering 138 digs.
Braedee Weatherman, 5’5”, S, Minneapolis, ‘25
The Minneapolis Lions have a setter to keep an eye on. Weatherman dished out 486 assists in 76 sets played. That was an increase of over 300 assists from her sophomore season. She will be leaned on during her senior year to keep the Lions hitters. Weatherman also chipped in 48 kills last season and will make a run at the 1,000-assist threshold next fall.
Caroline Imhof, 5’6”, S, St. Mary’s-Colgan, ‘25
Imhof has led the Panthers offense for two seasons in a row. She finished with 460 assists in 102 sets played during her junior campaign. That came after a sophomore season where she finished with 352 kills. Imhof is a six-rotation player who recorded 203 digs and 85 kills for the historically state-contending program.
Allison Deda, 5’5”, S, Pratt, ‘25
The Pratt Greenbacks got 432 assists from their junior setter last fall. Deda is a quick setter who also has a consistent serve. She racked up 35 aces for Pratt during her junior season in 86 sets.
Aleeya Cruz Aleeya Cruz 5'3" | S Garden City | 2025 KS , 5’3”, S, Garden City, ‘25
Cruz has a soft pair of hands that set up the Buffaloes’ attackers. Cruz has posted back-to-back seasons of 300-plus assists. During her junior season, he recorded 393 assists in 93 sets played. She has a sneaky serve which resulted in 61 aces last fall.
