Every class has a wide crop of talent coming from Grand Rapids.
Here’s a look at some of the shining stars from the area in the Class of 2026.

Finley Arp Finley Arp 6'0" | OH South Christian | 2026 State MI , OH South Christian/FaR Out
Arp has been steady at finishing from either pin. She’s got a swing that looks smooth and effortless, but still generates a lot of power. Arp always looks pretty comfortable on the floor. She has a knack for coming through in pressure points.
Rylie Barriger Rylie Barriger 5'7" | S Lowell | 2026 State MI , S Lowell/FaR Out
Barriger is a setter that uses a lot of sudden movements to help her team finish points. She’s very deceptive with the ball and confuses blockers well. She’s got the athleticism to make some difficult sets look very easy as well.
Karis Chatfield Karis Chatfield 5'11" | OH Jenison | 2026 State MI , OH Jenison/FaR Out
Chatfield has proven to be a big star already for the Jenison program. She plays with a lot of competitiveness and is well-rounded. She can produce a lot of offensive stats, but also plays consistently well on defense. Her drive will lead her to keep getting better and being an impact player these next few years.
Annalise Clark Annalise Clark 5'4" | DS/L Lowell | 2026 State MI , DS/L Lowell/FaR Out
Clark is like the volleyball version of a Roomba. She’s zig-zagging all over the court, but every move is with intent and allows her to clean up her side of the net. She’s got great technique on her delivery and solid instincts for where the ball is going to go.
Izzie Delacher Izzie Delacher 5'9" | S Rockford | 2026 State MI , S Rockford/MVA
Delacher is a coach’s kid, which means she plays a very smart game and has a great understanding for her offense. She’s an energy player as well, bringing the best out of her hitters and encouraging them in a positive way. You don’t have to question Delacher’s play very often.
Amelia Gagnon Amelia Gagnon 5'5" | DS/L West Catholic | 2026 State MI , OH/DS West Catholic/FaR Out
A great defender, Gagnon is showing just how impressive a hitter she can be this club season as well. Gagnon has been in a real groove at the net. Her form is smooth and her burst to the net allows her to generate a lot of power that can create problems for defenders.
Liv Hosford Liv Hosford 5'11" | OH Rockford | 2026 State MI , OH Rockford/MVA
A real workhorse from her first days in the Rockford program, Hosford is a proven finisher at the net that is able to deliver with power swing after swing. The last year saw Hosford really add dimensions to her overall play, making her a great prospect for the next level.
Lexie Stotenbur Lexie Stotenbur 5'9" | S Forest Hills Northern | 2026 State MI , S FH Northern/FaR Out
Stotenbur grew a lot as a player in the last year and was able to elevate her play to the level of her elite hitters at FH Northern. She plays very composed and has a smooth delivery that leads to a lot of big swings, especially from her middles. As a defender, Stotenbur can come through with a key block.
Maggie Szlachcic Maggie Szlachcic 5'11" | OH Hudsonville | 2026 State MI , OH Hudsonville/FaR Out
Listed at 5’11”, Szlachcic plays much longer at the net. She’s able to cover a lot of space and is quick and aggressive when battling for blocks. She’s able to terminate from either pin and has the agility to play from the middle as well.
Cara Wolf Cara Wolf 5'7" | DS/L Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2026 State MI , DS/L GRCC/FaR Out
Wolf has been one of the unsung heroes of defenders in this class. She’s been as consistent as you can ask for in the back row. She’s got very active eyes and has great instincts for when she needs to sprawl to get to the ball at the right moment.
Sienna Wolfe Sienna Wolfe 5'11" | OH Rockford | 2026 State MI , OH Rockford/MVA
One of the many young hitting talents for Rockford, Wolfe is also a standout defender. Her footwork stands out as a real strength, which allows her to rack up the dig count. At the net, Wolfe can explode off the floor and generate a lot of forward momentum.
