JVA Summerfest: Five 15 Open Attackers

She has good quickness and gets off the floor well at the end of her approach work. Her open position with her arm and shoulders allows for good torque movement in the air to be able to swing with purpose. This includes good balance at the pins including Goolsby who brings size at 6'0 along with power and control in her arm. She continues to make a big impact with her ability see the court well and score with both pace and finesse. Goolsby's versatility includes scoring potential on the power side of the court as well as establishing a big block as an opposite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='592211' first='Ellie' last='Albers']</strong> - OPVC 15-1 Ostendorf<br>Albers has good potential as a lengthy outside hitter. Her effort for this OPVC team from the left side have seen big moments due to the contact point she can develop on both sides of the ball. At 6'1, her presence at the net can be imposing. As her competitive experience increases and her quickness and movement becomes more fluid, she could become an impact arm over the course of her prep career and the handful of seasons ahead of her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='592209' first='Ella' last='Hanky']</strong> - Mintonette m.52<br>Hanky has good length as a pin attacker for this Mintonette team. At 6'0, she has ability to create a high contact point when she's on time with her swing at the top of her approach. She continues to develop a full range of tools both in her attacking range and with her ball control. She uses good extension at the end of her arm swing to be able to maximize her contact point. Thornberry prepares well through her transition and approach work. She can score with consistency as she gets her feet to the ball well combined with ability to make adjustments through her arm control. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
