Oakland County is certainly a hotbed for volleyball talent.

Year-after-year, the area produces many of the top talents in the state.

That's no different in the Class of 2025, which is overloaded with next-level prospects in the county.

Here's Part 1 of a 2-part look into the top 2025 talents coming from Oakland County.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='156284' first='Gabriella' last='Babinski'], RS South Lyon East/Michigan Elite

Babinski is a great prospect for Georgia Southern, as she moves very quickly and efficiently as a 6'1” outside. She's been a go-to arm for South Lyon East and Michigan Elite, while adding layers to her defensive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='156285' first='Tina' last='Barnekova'], MH/OH Rochester Adams/Michigan Elite

Barnekova has an intensity level on the floor that few are able to match. She's shown she can succeed on the outside or in the middle. Her athleticism is noticeable right away, but then she adds in a quick and powerful swing. Rochester Adams and Michigan Elite are happy to have this fierce competitor on their side.

[player_tooltip player_id='261206' first='Sarah' last='Bradley'], OH Everest Collegiate/Unified

Bradley really made a big statement during the 2023 D4 state finals, as she was an unstoppable force to lead Everest Collegiate to the state championship. Bradley has a great engine on the floor and can keep pushing her game to another level, even in a fifth set.

[player_tooltip player_id='156287' first='Isabelle' last='Busignani'], OH Marian/Michigan Elite

Busignani has been a workhorse for the Marian program. She guided the team to a state title as a sophomore and shouldered the offensive load as a junior while keeping the Mustangs in the title hunt. She's also been the offensive leader for Michigan Elite for years and will bring her drive to Cincinnati in the fall of 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='156289' first='Jillian' last='Collins'], OH/DS Mercy/Toledo Volleyball Club

Collins can play anywhere on the floor and that is not a stretch. At 5'11” with a lot of explosiveness off the floor, Collins can go toe-to-toe with the best hitters, but she really excels as a defender. Collins is quick, she's instinctive and she's driven to be the best.

[player_tooltip player_id='156295' first='Campbell' last='Flynn'], S Mercy/Legacy

Flynn has been a star since the moment she stepped on the floor as a varsity player for Mercy. She's build on that with dominant play nationally with Legacy and Team USA. Flynn has all the intangibles to succeed at the next level with Nebraska when she makes her way there in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='156298' first='Chloe' last='Giehtbrock'], S Marian/L2

Giehtbrock took a big risk in moving from a potential six-rotation outside to a setter, but she committed herself to the position and has looked really shark at L2 during the past two club seasons. Her work and determination paid off, as she's going to play at Arizona in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='156299' first='Olivia' last='Grenadier'], MH Country Day/Legacy

One of the most explosive middles you will find, Grenadier has proven herself to be among the best in the country over years of club success. Injuries have kept her from showing just how dominant she can be at Country Day, but that is likely to change this fall. She's committed to Colorado.
