Setting The Pace: Five Ranked 2026 Kansas Setters

Each was among the state leaders in assists during their sophomore campaigns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523631' first='Catlin' last='Shao']</strong>, 5'10”, S, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Shao finished among the state leaders in assists during her sophomore season with 600 total assists. She is currently ranked No. 74 overall in the class of 2026. She has a sneaky good serve finishing with 43 aces in 92 sets for the Timberwolves.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='355646' first='Allyson' last='Orth']</strong>, 5'9”, S, Bishop Carroll, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig currently has Orth ranked No. 39 overall. Orth recorded 572 assists in 82 sets for the Golden Eagles during her sophomore season. She is also a dangerous hitter and tipper who registered 83 kills last season. She can play solid defense when called upon as she recorded 184 digs for the Cougars. Weber is ranked No. 37 overall by Prep Dig Kansas and plays club ball with [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523630' first='Adison' last='Williams']</strong>, 5'5”, S, Hiawatha, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams is a prospect I have yet to see play in person. She finished with 722 assists in 83 sets for the Hiawatha Red Hawks. Her overall numbers as a sophomore were solid as her stat line included 246 digs, 53 kills, and 22 blocks. She is ranked No. 81 overall among her 2026 Kansas peers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='489349' first='Kingzley' last='Ratzlaff']</strong>, 5'11”, S, Hillsboro, ‘26</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The tallest setter among this group of five is Hillsboro's Ratzlaff.  She used that size to record 143 kills and 540 assists in 102 sets. The Trojans are a perennial state power, and that will help Ratzlaff gain exposure in front of college coaches.
