Five Solid Returning 1st Region Setters

Flowers does a great job moving all over the court making sound digs and communicating well with teammates. Flowers makes sound sets reacting fast to plays. She can shoot balls to the corners on setter dumps and has nice line drives on her serves. Puckett said she has great hands and makes very smart decisions on the floor. Dunn is a solid passer reads defenses well trying to put her hitters in position to put balls down. Dunn has some deceptive setter dumps. Dunn has a nice serve to the shallow left side of the floor. Truitt can set the ball to both the front and back court, including a back set. She is a sound passer and dives to the floor going after balls defensively. Truitt has shown she can dig up some of the best hitters in the state, even making changes when opponents make hitting adjustments in the air. Her defense and serving also can not be overlooked. Deweese has 1,340 assists for her high school career.
