In the Class of 2025, there's plenty of players that have potential to succeed at the college level from Southwest Michigan.

Here's Part 2 of our 2-part look at some of those players.

Players listed alphabetically

Kali Evans, S Centreville/Next Level

Evans is a gamer and she's not afraid to be a leader. She's put that on display a lot this last year. When a match is tight, she puts a lot on her to finish things. As a setter, she draws a lot of strong swings out of her hitters, but she definitely remains aggressive and tries to keep the defense on its toes.

[player_tooltip player_id='443826' first='Jordyn' last='Hughes'], MH Portage North/Dead Frog

Hughes has been climbing the state rankings rapidly for the last few years and the Connecticut commit is proving to be among the best in Michigan. She's very potent at the net with a lot of explosive power. She's very agile as well, allowing her to be a dominant blocker and adjust to offspeed attacks when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='482160' first='Livi' last='Overbeek'], OH BC Lakeview/Dead Frog

Overbook is a promising 6-foot hitter that had a lot of success for Lakeview this past fall. She was finishing everywhere along the net and doing a good job of working some tough shot angles and mixing up her arm speed. Overbeek glides along the floor and shows that she wants the ball when a big point is needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='472798' first='Cassidy' last='Pratley'], MH Harper Creek

A multi-sport talent that is already committed to Western Michigan, Pratley's natural athleticism allow her to excel in any sport she plays. For volleyball, it allows her to be a dominant presence at the net. Her footwork gets her in position to put the ball down at a sharp angle. Her swing is smooth and leads to lot of power and speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='723141' first='Nora' last='Proos'], OH Our Lady of the Lakes

Proos is a great all-around athlete that is a great asset to OLL. She never looks pressed on the floor. Proos can compete with anyone when it comes to being a balanced player. She's able to excel defensively, from the service line, and certainly at the net. Her swing looks very natural for her and doesn't take a lot of effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='595381' first='Payton' last='Springstead'], OH Bronson

Springstead was the outside presence for Bronson this fall. She brings a lot of energy to the floor and puts a lot of that into her swing. She's consistently challenging passers making the most out of each attack. Defensively, Springstead is well-coached and has a lot of good technique. She's a player that still has room to grow, but has accomplished a lot in a short time.

[player_tooltip player_id='487143' first='Emma' last='Underwood'], MH/OH Kalamazoo Christian/FaR Out

Underwood has been testing herself this club season, playing with FaR Out and going up against a lot of top talent. She's been able to play anywhere along the net and find a home for points. Underwood is also putting in a lot of work defensively to be a difference-maker, which is having some success.
