June is just around the corner and you know what that means.

Not only are we closing in on the end of the 2024 club season with nationals, but the now annual recruiting holiday of June 15th. With the hype around the 2026 class heating up, the 2025 class here in Michigan still have quite the bench of athletes waiting to find their next landing zone.

Take a look at these 5 athletes that you need to keep an eye on in June.

[player_tooltip player_id='239993' first='Kadie' last='Tarasiewicz'] - OLSM/Legacy

This player has been lighting it up throughout the course of her junior year. From what was an otherwise breakout fall with Orchard Lake St. Mary's, [player_tooltip player_id='239993' first='Kadie' last='Tarasiewicz'] has continued her accent this club season. She's a quick player off of the ground and into the ball. Always good for a quick point. She'd be a nice addition to any college program.

[player_tooltip player_id='343669' first='Chloe' last='Aalfs'] - Buchanan/Dunes

A player who has come on real hard to the radar in the last few months, [player_tooltip player_id='343669' first='Chloe' last='Aalfs'] continues to impress. A well-rounded outside hitter with all of the tools in the box and the defense in the back court. Aalfs has been a staple for the Dunes VBC over the course of the club season.

[player_tooltip player_id='187070' first='Alayna' last='Esselink'] - Richmond/Michigan Elite

This is another one who is as well-rounded as they come. You don't see quite as many middles at this high of level be thrown in to play six rotations. [player_tooltip player_id='187070' first='Alayna' last='Esselink'] has been taken on this role as of late and has shown some incredible signs of sticking to it. Esselink is an uber athletic body on the court with a developing sense of IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='156302' first='Finley' last='Helm'] - Mt. Pleasant/Five:1

Don't let her size fool you, [player_tooltip player_id='156302' first='Finley' last='Helm'] can hang and bang with the best of them. A staple for not only Mt. Pleasant, but also Five:1's 17 Black, Helm has been a shining star all throughout her junior year. A six rotation outside with loads of range, including her offense and defense, she offers so much to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='446690' first='Anneliese' last='De Jong'] - Kalamazoo Christian/Dead Frog

With as many eyes as this team has been getting, I won't be surprised if we don't get an announcement from this one in the next few weeks. [player_tooltip player_id='446690' first='Anneliese' last='De Jong'] is having a super year. After a state title winning run with Kzoo Christian in the fall, De Jong has helped anchor her Dead Frog team to a 17 USA Bid. De Jong brings a lot of size to the right pin and quite a bit of fire power as well.
