USA Jr Nationals, which will be held in Las Vegas in early July, is the ultimate test to the end of the season as it will bring together all of the teams who have earned a bid to participate. These wonderful teams have proven themselves through a very long and grueling club season and will compete against other top-notch teams who have earned the right to play in this prestigious tourney. We will be highlighting teams and individual players from the 17 American division that we think you should be watching during the tourney in this series of articles. Let's take a look at a few names to know!

This awesome squad won their bid by winning the championship at the Northeast Qualifier. They are led by a few studs on their roster and head coach Keisha Hyman-Gifth. Jadore Farmer is a big middle blocker who plays well above the net and provides such a nice target for her setter to feed out of the middle. I love how she uses her long arms to attack from a lot of different angles. Setter Jovie Wilkins moves the ball to all of her hitters well in order to keep the defense guessing where the attack will come from. I love how setter/right side Dixie Gayden plays all the way around and is able to give so much to her team. She provides a ton of options for her coaching staff to play around with due to her versatility. Outside hitter Marisabelle Sais is super aggressive and plays taller than she is. I love how she has no fear and is always ready to swing for her squad. Routinely, Outside hitter Ava Wallen has a very strong frame that she uses to attack and also at the service line to keep opposing teams off-balance. She also has a strong ability to pass serve receive and keep her team's offense in-system. Middle Ceanna Callins has also been a monster at the net providing some much needed firepower to the offense. This team has what it takes to go on a solid run at nationals and we will be there to watch.

TAV won their bid by competing extremely well at the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier this season. They are led by head coach Jimmy Stanek and some solid ballers. [player_tooltip player_id='254255' first='Kynley' last='Hewett'] runs the show with some extremely soft hands and exceptional location. As a setter she doesn't show where she is going to set with her posture and this makes her very dangerous. But as a hitter on the right side, she is even more dangerous. She has a strong frame and uses it well on the offensive end. [player_tooltip player_id='436707' first='Ava' last='Patrizi'] has such a live arm and she utilizes it so well on the right side. Her electric down swing adds so much firepower to this offense. Libero Marlee Price wows me with her amazing ability to push off of her outside foot and extend her defensive range. Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='254145' first='Elizabeth' last='Adamek'] plays all the way around and is solid at ball control in the backrow. The way this team uses middles Kortney Craig and [player_tooltip player_id='456265' first='Imerie' last='Jones'] out of serve receive keeps the opposing middles staying home at base and causes them to be late to close the blocks against the pins. Miss Craig is a huge reason why this team is super aggressive against anyone they play against. She runs a solid route and they feed her often. We are going to keep our eye on this squad in Las Vegas and think you should also.
