In case you missed it, we just addressed a handful of Nebraska 2026s who have recently made their case to be added to our watch list (or rankings). This is an ongoing series in which we already discussed the 2027s through a two-part series. Why not bring out a Part 2 for the 2026s?
Here are a few more names to keep on your radar.
Katlyn Oakley
Katlyn Oakley
St. Paul High School has earned a few mentions lately, especially when South Central NE is involved on the club side. Oakley plays up an age group with South Central NE 17 Black and offered a ton of versatility in the starting lineup. She was one of the team’s most active passers during the Show Me Qualifier as 17 Black climbed to the final 17 American bracket. Oakley is a multi-sport standout who is just starting her development on the volleyball court.
Bella Morris
Bella Morris
Morris continues our run of 2026s playing up with the 17s. Her presence on the right side ensures that River City Jrs 17 Red has plenty of firepower in its three-hitter rotations. Aside from her contributions to the offense, Morris also presents an imposing block for any opposing left-side hitters. 17 Red has a fascinating medley of talent from different classes, and Morris has jumped onto our radar in recent weeks.
Hannah Ehrenberg
Hannah Ehrenberg
This one is overdue. Ehrenberg jumps up to Premier 17 Red and has a multi-position impact for her squad. The Millard North prospect can play middle blocker or right-side hitter, giving 17 Red a wealth of options in its two-setter system. Ehrenberg was a key part of 17 Red’s journey through the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament, an outing that ended in a 17 Freedom bid. We’re excited to see Ehrenberg continue her upward progression at GJNC.
Audrey Fennell

It was only a matter of time before we brought ENVY into the mix. This second-year club stacks a lot of talented 2026s on its 17s team, allowing up-and-coming players to shine against tough competition. Fennell embraced this challenge and combined an impressive highlight film throughout the 2024 season. She produced some crafty finesse shots and accompanied that with hard-driven crosscourt swings. Fennell could also go pass-to-attack in the frontcourt if needed. This outside hitter is battle-tested for the next challenge.
Kaitlyn Topolski

Banzai VBC is back on the board as we venture back to the 16s age group. 16 Power wielded a lot of ball-control depth this year, and Topolski was usually part of the equation. The Millard South prep athlete could adapt to any lineup the team deployed and had plenty of chances to pilot a 5-1 offense. She distributed the ball well while also boosting 16 Power’s strong floor defense. The narrative keeps evolving around Banzai’s emerging stars in this age bracket.
Alena Kehm
Alena Kehm
The middle blocker spot has become a clear focal point for some of Club Legacy’s best lineups. Kehm is not the first 16 Bravo athlete we’ve discussed lately, but her frontcourt physicality has helped her stand out among her peers. She moves well from pin to pin to provide a solid double block for 16 Bravo. We’ve also watched Kehm progress as an attacker, particularly on quick tempos in front of the setter. Lastly, we’ll note the ever-present pipeline between Club Legacy and Omaha Marian. Add another example of this unbreakable connection.
Aubrey Burton
Aubrey Burton
Nebraska ONE keeps bringing out more small-town talents for our list. Burton carries the torch for Milford High School and is an indispensable part of Nebraska ONE 16 Grey’s front row. She is quick to read setters and get herself in the right position to make a touch. Then, in transition, Burton can quickly make herself available to take a swing. 16 Grey’s aggressive style and adaptable lineup yielded several good performances on the regional stage. It’s time for our watch list to reflect that.
Jamie Murcek
Jamie Murcek
River City Jrs has its share of under-the-radar 2026s. Murcek found her groove with 16 Red and became a go-to weapon on the left pin. Of course, she’ll also bring the all-around skills that coaches covet in their left-side hitters. 16 Red’s athletes have a lot to look forward to after a successful 2024 campaign, and Murcek is leading the charge in that discussion.
