What a difference a club season makes! At the timing of this article, I've noted 42 athletes from this class that have already committed to play somewhere at the next level, starting in the fall of 2025. We've mention the next set of pin attackers and middles that could commit somewhere, but what about the floor generals giving those athletes the ball? Here are five setters from five different clubs from around the state that could see an offer come their way in the coming weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='192098' first='Haiden' last='Means'], 5-9, Scottsburg, Union

From way down in southern Indiana, just off of I-65, you can find this athletic marvel. Haiden takes every ball high, locates it well for her attackers, and always finds a way to make the ball hittable, despite the level of pass she receives. Her defense for her position is also above average for this class, and she rarely takes a play off. Mental errors just don't happen with Miss Means.

[player_tooltip player_id='378034' first='Kate' last='Jacquay'], 5-10, Carroll, Empowered

Running the top 17s team at Empowered, Kate is receiving both indoor and outdoor training from the only club in the state that provides both. I'm kind of surprised we're still talking about this young lady---she's easily one of the biggest remaining uncommitted setters, playing at an open level, and regularly placing at the top end of multiple tournaments. You could do far worse than Miss Jacquay, if you're looking for a 5-1 setter that can run the show right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='261023' first='Isabelle' last='Jackson'], 5-9, Westfield, Boiler Juniors

A transfer from Circle City from a season ago, Isabelle is a physical and strong setter that leapt onto my radar at summer league last year. With strong hands and a high volleyball IQ, Miss Jackson can set any ball in any situation at will, and does it with accuracy. She's also more aggressive than most setters; she'll go over on two to score points for her squad and take the pressure off of her hitters.

[player_tooltip player_id='444540' first='Lily' last='Mummert'], 5-11, Homestead, [program_tooltip program_id='430155' first='Team' last='Pineapple']

Keep an eye on this young lady next fall. Homestead should have their best roster, top to bottom, in this author's recent memory, and Lily should be the QB of this potent offense. Long, lean and unassuming, Miss Mummert is an under-the-radar setter that gets the job done, is very reliable and accurate, and knows how to play in high pressure situations. Obviously, her net defense is above average because of that length, definitely more so than the others listed here today.

[player_tooltip player_id='192105' first='Ava' last='Whitmore'], 5-7, Mount Vernon, Academy

Quick handed and quick footed, Ava is already running a fast offense for her squad, and has hyper accurate location to go with it. More of a defensive setter than the others listed here today, Miss Whitmore reminds me of setters I used to recruit at UIndy back in the day---underappreciated, hard-working, relentless and strong.
