2026 Radar: Five Cleveland Area Prospects

Competing for AVC, she is steady in her read and reaction to the ball and uses efficient movement to maintain a dynamic position so her platform can adjust without impacting her angle production much. Equally effective in both serve receive and defense, she creates good range and extension to play the ball in all directions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lyniah Campbell-Cass</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This AVC middle is just tapping into what her potential and future could look like on the volleyball court. Although just 5'10 as a middle, she has athleticism and quickness that continue to pay dividends for her as she continues to makes more gains in her movement, arm, and overall experience throughout the club season. She has ability to bring it as a pin attacker, especially when her contact is on time at the peak of her lift. Her length at 6'0 is a big part of her presence and impact. She can score from both sides of the net and with good arm control through space around net defenders. She also contributes other six-rotation skills well as a steady passer and in her aggressiveness and control at the service line that can apply a lot of pressure on opponents. Her defense is noticeable as well as her length again is an asset in her ability to track down the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='403532' first='Grace' last='Daniels']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'9 setter for [program_tooltip program_id='431573' first='RockCity' last=''] has great court presence as a floor leader and distributor as her movement is efficient and leads to a consistent contact point. Daniels can sling it well in all directions and is capable of locating on point when on the move or against the flow. The NDCL product can make big plays out of tough passes either tight or when pulled off the net as she'll take good risks to get her middles involved. Her force and extension help her maintain quicker tempos in all directions that helps create space for her attackers to get high quality swings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='728725' first='Bethany' last='Sherwood']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'11 Sherwood is an active middle on both sides of the ball. She is impressive defensively as she has good quickness laterally to help get to pin attackers and close space. Offensively, the Avon product does good work in the transition phase to get herself available quickly. She has good flow and court awareness and isn't afraid to use an off speed shot to exploit space in the defense with good touch. When having more time to build a bigger approach pattern, she swings aggressively and with good pace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
