I am only two sleeps away from heading west to scout at the Abilene Spiketacular Tournament.

Twelve schools are scheduled to attend the event. Ninety-one matches are scheduled to take place on six courts and two locations. I plan on scouting four matches each morning at Abilene High School.

Below are four athletes who are currently in the Prep Dig Rankings. They each represent the four teams I am most familiar with.

I look forward to seeing these four athletes compete and from the more unfamiliar programs from Axtell, Clay Center, Salina Central, Smith Center, and Sylvan Lucas.

Stay tuned to Prep Dig for a preview tomorrow on prospects from the class of 2026 expected to play in the event. Coverage of the event will also be featured later this week on Prep Dig.

[player_tooltip player_id='493417' first='Aubrey' last='Wisker'], 5'10”, OH, Salina South, ‘25

Wisker is an athlete I have seen play during club action. She is ranked No. 57 overall in the Prep Dig rankings for the Kansas Class of 2025. I look forward to seeing her play with prep teammates. She finished with 250 kills last fall in 83 sets. She is a physical athlete who will see other power hitters in the Abilene tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='275626' first='Kennedy' last='Behnke'], 5'11”, MB, Ellinwood ‘25

Like Wisker, I watched Benhke compete in club action for the Central Kanas Rampage. She is currently ranked No. 59 overall. Ellinwood is the squad that I most look forward to scouting. I have seen many Eagles compete in club ball, but not together for their prep team.

[player_tooltip player_id='493503' first='Kailyn' last='Follis'], 5'4”, DS/L, Beloit, ‘25

Beloit is loaded with talent and I tend to focus on their hitters, but I want to take a close look this time at the Trojans libero. Follis is currently ranked No. 88 overall by Prep Dig. She finished last season with 500 digs. She is just 33 digs away from reaching the threshold of 1,000 career digs. She is currently uncommitted.

[player_tooltip player_id='514813' first='Arabell' last='Razzano'], 5'6”, S, Wamego, ‘25

Razzano is a three-sport prospect that I want to scout closely. She is currently ranked No. 164 overall in the class of 2024. I saw Wamego play once last season and was quickly enamored by the jumping ability of two-sport standout [player_tooltip player_id='523621' first='Lexi' last='Hecht']. I want to see how Razzano works with her hitters and how she compares with the elite setters in Kansas.
