June and July will be two important months for Prep Dig Athletes.

With college team camps, summer league matches, and college skills camps there will be opportunities for athletes to be noticed before the high school season begins in August.

Prep Dig Kansas will be working on adding new athletes to our player rankings before the high school season starts.

Here is a report on five athletes in the Class of 2026. Each is currently unranked but look for them to be added when the next updates are published.

Players who want to be included in our rankings are encouraged to reach out to our scouts on social media or create a “free” player profile on our website.

[player_tooltip player_id='546033' first='Sevy' last='Wurtz'], 5'5”, S, Clifton-Clyde

Wurtz is a multi-sport prospect who excels at basketball, volleyball, and track and field. She finished her sophomore season with 486 assists in 100 sets. She has an impressive tip and attack game also recording 240 kills. Wurtz is ranked No. 68 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. She scored 18 points per game and averaged 5.1 rebounds per contest for the Eagles as a sophomore. Look for Wurtz to make her debut in the Prep Dig 2026 rankings this summer. Wurtz was named to the Kansas Volleyball Association's Class 1A DI All-State Second Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='524466' first='Regan' last='Widener'], 5'10”, RS, Ellinwood

The Ellinwood Eagles are going to be a team to watch this fall. They have multiple ranked players on Prep Dig and expected to join that list is right-side hitter Widener. She accumulated 225 kills in 87 sets as a sophomore. She also registered 43 total blocks and now has 75 in her first two high school seasons. She is athletic and plays with poise.

[player_tooltip player_id='512069' first='Tori' last='Morrison'], 5'6”, OH, Argonia

Morrison is a talented athlete whose numbers I have previously noticed. She is quick and is a big-time leaper. She finished with 351 kills and 337 digs in 92 sets played as a sophomore. Morrison also has a sneaky serve that's difficult to receive. She racked up 56 aces for the Red Raiders last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='541080' first='Macy' last='Bishop'], 5'7”, DS/L, Lansing

Bishop could be the defensive specialist of the future for the Lions. She finished with 175 serve receptions and 161 digs. Lansing is a perennial state contender with a new head coach in 2024. Lansing is hosting a summer tournament on June 10, and I hope to get an up-close look at Bishop.

[player_tooltip player_id='512040' first='Alina' last='Esparza Ramirez'], 5'0”, DS/L, Wichita Southeast

Ramirez is a salty libero who I saw play early in the '24 club season. She is a great communicator on the floor and hustles to get to every ball possible. She played club ball with the FSC Cougars. The Golden Buffalo digging machine should be included in the next rankings update.
