The Saginaw area may get lost in the shuffle sometimes when it comes to its volleyball talent, but there are a handful of upcoming seniors that should help bring attention to the area in the fall.

Here's a look at six seniors that are going to make a big splash for their respective programs in a few months.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='222957' first='Breanna' last='David'], S/RS Bay City Western/Five:1

David is a diverse player that is able to excel at a variety of locations around the floor. Her athleticism stands out no matter where she is. She can explode around the floor to make a tough set, make a difficult dig, or unleash a vicious attack. David also plays with a lot of competitive fire, which is why she is able to play so many different positions.

Maggie Elliott, OH Freeland/Five:1

Elliott is a well-rounded player that looks very graceful in her approach to the net. She's got a natural flow as she takes off from the floor and her swing looks effortless, yet produces good velocity. Elliott also is technically smooth on defense, as she looks the ball into her arms and makes a clean pass to her setters. She can also quickly transition from passer to attacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='595372' first='Sydney' last='Kuhn'], RS Swan Valley/Five:1

Kuhn is a powerful left-handed right side that can finish at a high rate. She caught fire often for Swan Valley during the prep season. She's got a smooth, over-the-top swing that generates consistent power. Kuhn can attack sharp angles and push through the blockers. Her defense gets better with each match as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='261192' first='Makenzie' last='Nearman'], MH Bullock Creek/Michigan Elite

Nearman is a hitting option that can play the middle or the outside. She's improved a lot in her finishing ability by developing different aspects to her shot. She's getting craftier with her swing and doing a better job of recognizing openings on the floor. Defensively, Nearman is doing a better job of being more consistent at the net and improving on her passing.

Jenna Rekeweg, OH/S Midland

Rekeweg is a very composed player that does a good job of taking what the play offers and not forcing something that isn't there. She's got a swing that she can alter to make a steady out-of-system play, but then dial up the power when she's got a clean look. As a setter, Rekeweg can play with good tempo. She's got a lot of length and that leads to fast connections with her hitters.

Addison Seemann, MH Freeland

A 5'10” middle that plays longer than her height lists, Seemann was a player that got better as the prep season went along in the fall. She played stronger as she had more confidence coming off a knee injury. Seemann has the ability to overpower opponents in the middle, but her quick adjustments to the ball to play the ball all over the back row is one of her best assets. She sees the court really well.
