From time to time, you get one of those regional championships where, no matter what happens, a good team is going to be left out of GJNCs. Thankfully, the 15s division didn't have to go through that, thanks to Circle's 15-1 moving from the National bid to Open, and Rev's 15-1 moving from the American bid to USA. This moved the team listed today from a fourth-place finish (and out of the Vegas conversation) to the American bid.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Circle City 15 White</h2>   If memory serves, the 15-3 at Circle had a few missing parts at the regional championships, and STILL found a way to compete at a high level, narrowly losing to Rev's 15-1 squad, 15-13 in the third. Now, with the possibility of the whole roster able to make it to GJNCs, there are kids listed below that will showcase their talents on a national stage. Setters [player_tooltip player_id='502571' first='Ava' last='Dean'] ('27, 5-6 S, Center Grove) and [player_tooltip player_id='514355' first='Savannah' last='Brock'] ('27, 5-6 S, Mooresville) are both athletic and have a high volleyball IQ. I liked what they did back in February, as they were both forced to play all the way around, despite their sizes. Each will be nice additions for their respective high school squads, and will probably pan out to being part of a collegiate 6-2 in their futures. [player_tooltip player_id='514770' first='Lainey' last='Wojnowski'] ('27, 5-11 MB, Zionsville) is an excellent M2 option, hitting a heavy ball out of the middle in front of the setter. Her transition is quick, and her strong stature has her power through and off of blocks regularly. [player_tooltip player_id='556273' first='Sydney' last='Sanders'] ('27, 5-9 MB, Brebeuf) is a two-sport stud that excels in sprints in the spring. That springy nature of hers makes her very fast and quick, and will beat a lot of blocks because of that athleticism. She might end up on the pin when she gets older because of her size, which is even better because the defenders are shorter out there---no chance for a block to affect Sydney's high point of attack. [player_tooltip player_id='443840' first='Marin' last='Walters'] ('27, 5-8 OH, Tri-West) is another two-sport star, this time in softball. At the freshman showcase last year, Marin took reps wherever she could, including the middle. She held her own, and was fearless in doing so. Realistically, Marin is an outside that has the athleticism to adjust and score points when needed.
