She reads the floor very well and reacts with quickness and range in her pursuit that can make big plays to increase her team's offensive opportunities. The Lipscomb commit returns to her CVCA team where she has earned over 14 digs per match each of her past two varsity seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='572583' first='Taylor' last='Wake'] Wake arrived on the radar this club season competing for AVC as a result of some big swings as a pin attacker. At 5'9, she maximizes her physical skills well as she is an aggressive hitter with quickness and good lift off the floor. In the air she shows good arm speed with control that allows her to swing through the full range of the court. Limited in her action for Jackson in 2023, look for her to make more contributions in 2024.   [player_tooltip player_id='572592' first='Elle' last='Gilmore'] Gilmore is a 5'11 middle with good athleticism and physical tools to be an offensive asset and defend through both pins. The Northmont product earned 1.7 k/s on a total of 105 kills in 2023. Following a productive club season with Air City she is poised to make a bigger impact. She is versatile in what she provides as she can score through quick options around her setter and at the pin on a higher ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='502470' first='Abby' last='Dorn'] Dorn returns to Loveland where she earned 175 total kills in 2023. The 5'11 pin has an above average touch point when attacking. What is most noticeable is that she can generate good pace upon contact with her arm speed while showing good awareness of the defense in front of her. The increase in her aggressive and effective attacking work from her recent club season with OPVC should help Loveland compete well in the ECC this coming season.   [player_tooltip player_id='572580' first='Sydney' last='Weickert'] The 5'5 Weickert has proven her ability to contribute in a variety of ways over her prep career as she has been the primary setter the past two seasons for Ross High School while then competing at the libero position for her Blackswamp club team. Over her past two varsity seasons she has dished over 1,450 total assists while maintaining a 10.9 digs per match average over three seasons with nearly 750 total digs.
