As promised, here is the second scouting report on the top uncommitted hitters in the Kansas Class of 2025.

Prep Dig rankings for this class were released yesterday.

The class of 2026 rankings are scheduled to be published next week. I would like to remind Kansas prospects that registration for the MO/KAN Showcases in KCK closes on July 31. Athletes interested in attending can use the promo code DeckardDig2024 when registering.

[player_tooltip player_id='465558' first='Cali' last='Honeyman'], 5'11”, OH, Nemaha Central

Honeyman is currently ranked No. 44 overall. She is an athlete I am very familiar with watching her play for her prep team as well as her club team. She recorded 396 kills last season in 94 sets. Honeyman has a career total of 134 total blocks over two seasons of varsity action. She is an explosive jumper and works hard at honing her craft.

[player_tooltip player_id='219740' first='Ashley' last='Barcus'], 5'10”, OH, Olathe West

Owls hitter Barcus is currently ranked No. 45 and is still uncommitted. She is a springy hitter and a solid defensive player. She finished with 223 kills in 82 sets played as a junior. Barcus is a six-rotation athlete who finished with 239 digs and 475 serve receptions last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='173371' first='Ella' last='Davidson'], 5'10”, OH, Blue Valley West

Davidson is an experienced hitter and is currently ranked No. 46 overall. She has back-to-back seasons with 200-plus kills. She is 344 kills away from joining the 1,000-kill club. She has a big reach and a smooth approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='493370' first='Prayer' last='Roebuck'], 5'10”, RS, Neodesha

Roebuck is a two-sport, small-school prospect currently ranked No. 47 overall. She played club ball with Shockwave last season and played club basketball with 365 Hoops Elite. I first noticed Roebuck at the Pittsburg State team camp in 2023. She is a member of the 1,000-kill club after a junior season with 525 kills. She can also play the setter position and finished with 344 assists last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='154037' first='Abigail' last='Riggs'], 5'11”, MB, Mill Valley

Riggs is currently ranked No. 48 in the Kansas Class of 2025. She is the power of a “Black Cat” firecracker with her swing. She plays for winning prep and club programs. She is an unselfish athlete who would add solid depth to any program.

[player_tooltip player_id='173382' first='Ashlee' last='Chavez'], 5'9”, RS, St. James

Chavez is a physical hitter currently ranked No. 49 overall. I have been following her closely the past couple of years. Like too many female athletes she keeps the recruiting process close to her chest. She has multiple offers, but the last I heard was still uncommitted. If I were a betting man I would say she ends up with a smaller out-of-state Division I program or with a program in the MIAA.

[player_tooltip player_id='395236' first='Teagan' last='Canady'], 5'10”, OH, Valley Center

Valley Center's Canady is an underrecruited prospect ranked No. 50. She had a solid club season and finished with 197 kills in 77 sets last fall. She is primarily a front-row-only athlete. She has solid bounce in her game and is an effective leader for her prep and club squads.
