We are super excited to partner with USA Volleyball once again to run the official college recruiting showcase for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. The second session was held on July 7th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. This series of articles will discuss those special players that stood out for various reasons to our court coaches and scouts. They have won our prestigious Top Performer award. Let's meet the winners!

[player_tooltip player_id='523942' first='Piper' last='Pease'] [2028] 6-1 Right Side (HS: Smithson Valley/Club: Alamo/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Piper is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Smithson Valley High School and now will play for the Alamo volleyball club after just having a wonderful season with San Antonio Elite. Miss Pease and her skills are screaming “I Got Next!” The talented lefty has an enormous amount of power in her strong upper body. She is a prototypical lefty right side who can hit for power and block at a high level. Her down swing creates a lot of force that is channeled into the ball at the point of contact. As an attacker, she can score through the block if given a seam, around the block on a nice cut shot and also throttle the line when she rotates her upper body in mid-air. I love everything about her game and how she plays with confidence and poise. After re-watching the footage of the showcase a few times, her game play really stood out to me. I loved how multiple court coaches mentioned her name to me in their notes. This tells me that she truly stood out due to her skills. We will be watching her very closely and you should also. Remember the name! Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.

[player_tooltip player_id='569581' first='Cecile' last='Novembre'] [2027] 6-1 Middle (HS: Harbor/Club: SAND City/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Cecile is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Harbor High School and club for the SAND City volleyball program. Miss Novembre played a huge part in her court winning a ton of points during the showcase. From what we saw with her skills at the showcase, she is fully capable of playing multiple positions along the net at a high level. What truly stands out is her ability to swing block and get well over the net to seal it away from would-be point scorers. Her long reach is one of the many weapons that she possesses in her arsenal. This young lady has a fire inside her that shows when she plays this wonderful game of volleyball. I have a feeling that she can switch to an outside full-time has her back row defense and ability to score from middle back is elite. There is no reason why this young lady should ever be off of the court on any team she is on. She will definitely be added to our official watch list at the next time that I update the State Rankings. We will be keeping our eye on her and you should as well. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='526557' first='Sydney' last='Rincon'] [2028] 5-8 Setter (HS: Sierra Canyon/Club: CITY/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Sierra Canyon High School and also for the CITY volleyball club program. Miss Rincon has everything it takes to be one of the next great setters to come out of California. As a young setter, she possesses the ability to deliver to every location with precision over and over. I like how the ball comes off of her hands so smoothly and accurately. You can see from her eyes how she processes the game mentally and keeps an even keel with her demeanor. That kind calm will go a very long way in keeping her team's composure focused and strong. The way she jump sets the middle will have college coaches drooling with what that can do to opposing defenses. Her frame will continue to get stronger and taller, which will make her even more dangerous. I strongly suggest you start watching her game now because she will be a star very soon! Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award for this showcase.
