Class 3 – 2026 Setters

That is the best way to describe Claudia. She's not fancy but does her job exceptionally well for the Bulldogs. She is an athletic setter with great hands, is quick to the ball, has excellent push to the pins, and uses her middle hitters often. A big season is in store for the state's top Class 3 returning setter, who dished out 946 assists last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490118' first='Estella' last='Van Shankhof'] – 5'8" – Fulton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last year, Fulton had one of its best seasons in school history, and Estella significantly contributed to its success. A high volleyball IQ and will need another outstanding season if Fulton wants a return to the playoffs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490211' first='Reese' last='Darnell'] – 5'7" – Strafford</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If you can start for the Indians as a sophomore, then you are good. Reese has excellent hands and a fantastic setter dump. She is quick to the ball and puts her hitters in positions to be successful.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kamryn Marshall – 5'6" – Rogersville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kamryn only played in half the sets for Rogersville and still came away with the leading assist maker. She finished the season with 486 for 9 per set, running a 6-2. Another year of experience and could be given the go to run the offense solo this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ava Todd – 5'5" – Sullivan</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With big shoes to fill, Ava stepped in and did a solid job of helping run the Eagles' offense. Ava finished the season with 369 assists and 169 digs. I'm still determining what role she will play this season, but because of her passing and defensive skill set, she can run the offense solo or move to play libero.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
