She played a major role in the team's playing system, doubling up as right side hitter and setter for them. Savarino isn't very tall or powerful, but she did a very good job of finding nice angles to score, even in difficult situations. She also combined solid technical skills with great decision-making, handling her setting duties well, besides making some nice defensive plays on the backcourt.

St. Agnes Academy vs. Duchesne Academy

Bulow's Fort Bend Christian Academy side had a productive weekend, getting five wins and just one loss. The team experimented with different formations and in one of the matches she left her preferred outside hitter position to appear on the right. Bulow handled the new role well, displaying firepower and great resources to score points while making very few errors. Her solid backcourt game also gave her team some defensive support as she strengthened their passing system, while also making several digs on the right.

Buck was an important rotation player for John Cooper, helping the team produce a solid campaign of four wins and two losses. Very long and athletic, she used her physical tools well to make a difference at the net. Offensively, Buck made contact with the ball at a high point and found some nice angles, scoring in key moments for her team. Her long arms also gave her a solid blocking presence, forcing opponents to hit around her and getting several touches.

John Cooper vs. Legacy Prep Christian Academy

Webber made a nice impression playing for the St. Agnes Academy Junior Varsity team that got two wins and three losses playing against strong competition. Her game is still a little bit raw, but she has some interesting physical tools and displayed an interesting ability to make good decisions under pressure. Webber was very reliable offensively and, even not having a lot of power in her left arm, found ways to score by sending the ball into nice spots with tips. She also had a strong blocking presence, supporting the team's defensive system.

Fort Bend Christian Academy vs. St. Agnes Academy JV A
