NEW ADDITIONS – MIDDLES

[player_tooltip player_id='579113' first='Darby' last='Vannah'] - 6'2” - Bishop Gorman HS

Darby is a dominant middle hitter who can also deliver some powerful shots on the right side. An overpass is no match for her precise timing and power, as she consistently targets the ten-foot line with her attacks. She excels at running multiple offensive plays from the middle, striking sharp angles to both the left and right. With her exceptional arm strength, Darby frequently powers through blocks and scores with forceful tips. She earned a bid to Nationals last season and has gained a lot of exposure over the summer.

Darby was one of the Nevada Stockup Showcase Top Performers.

[player_tooltip player_id='551360' first='Luciana' last='Pieri'] - 5'10” - Bishop Gorman HS

Luciana stands out as one of the top blockers in her class. Last season, she played a pivotal role on her competitive Vegas Aces team, helping the team to earn a National bid 2x. She is expected to bring that same energy into the upcoming school season. After executing a block, her quick transition allows her to be ready for a variety of attack options. With her skills and momentum, she's poised for an impressive sophomore season.

[player_tooltip player_id='573333' first='Hadley' last='Koch'] - 6'0" - Bishop Gorman HS

Hadley is already standing at 6'0” and a huge threat in the middle. She opens fully to the setter when she approaches, allowing her a large range of attack options in the middle. With a powerful swing, she can hit sharp angles or deliver quick deep balls. She can really get up at her height as well, so blocks are a lot more frequent and she is able to cover a lot of the net with just her wingspan. As she advances in her volleyball career, Koch is poised to become a major impact player.

[player_tooltip player_id='538201' first='Lola' last='Shanahan'] - SECTA/Sierra Vista HS Volleyball

Lola is one of the most versatile hitters in the class of 2027. She can play multiple positions on the front row at an advanced level. She runs a great three and one with a powerful arm swing that can break through blocks. She also adds a tough float serve to her list of impressive skills. I saw her in action during the high school season against Legacy, where she quickly accumulated several kills and aces in the brief time I observed her, demonstrating her consistency in any game environment.

NEW ADDITIONS – DS/LIBEROS

[player_tooltip player_id='526766' first='Victoria' last='Black'] - 5'4" - Bishop Gorman HS

Victoria is exceptional at serve receive, demonstrating strong training in handling challenging float serves. She consistently positions herself well to deliver accurate passes and isn't afraid to hit the floor for a dropping serve or tough hit. Her impressive reading skills allow her to anticipate sneaky tips from opponents, and she excels at covering her hitters, even managing to keep the ball in play with one hand when needed. She understands her responsibilities as a libero and executes them with precision, making her an invaluable asset to both her school and club teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='550993' first='Keely' last='Conway'] - 5'5" - Sierra Vista HS

Keely is a libero you'd want on your team rather than facing you because she excels at digging tough hits and tips. Her reading skills are impressive for her age, allowing her to consistently position herself perfectly to deliver accurate passes to the setter. But Keely is far from an average libero. She is highly versatile, matching some of the top hitters with her own hitting skills and adding a challenging float serve to her repertoire. Her well-rounded skill set makes her a significant threat on the back row. She communicates effectively and is a standout on her high school team. With her trajectory, she has the potential to become one of the top liberos in the state by her senior year.
