Stock Risers - Here's Who Moved Up in the 2026 Rankings (Part 1)

The latest update to the 2026 rankings saw significant changes! Fourteen players climbed the ranks, and we'd like to provide some background on each one and how they achieved their advancement. Congratulations to all these athletes! They've demonstrated their commitment to becoming the best they can be and have shown they're actively working towards reaching the next level. As I always say, "be better than yesterday," and that's exactly what these players are doing.   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Now, lets dive into the first half of our 2026 stock risers. </h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='550487' first='Julie' last='Beckham'] | OH/RS/DS | Coronado HS | Uncommitted   #4➡️#3   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/07/71-Julie-Beckham.jpg?w=877" alt="" class="wp-image-571262" /></figure>   Julie is absolutely one of the best pins in the state, out of all classes. The junior recently came off an incredible sophomore school season, earning first team all state honors and ranking 6th in state for kills. She carried that momentum into club season, where she helped her team earn a bid for Nationals. Her energy paired with her killer swing make her a huge threat at the net. In addition, she blocks well, communicates with her teammates and helps out her team as best she can in any position that she is needed. The state champ runner up should continue to shine and fight for another chance to win the 5A championship. The hitter possesses a powerful swing, making it nearly certain that she'll secure a kill when there's no block or gap, thanks to her ability to consistently get on top of the ball. She excels at finding and exploiting gaps in the opponent's defense, delivering both hard kills and strategic tips. Her impressive vertical leap allows her to hit over blocks and accumulate numerous points for her team. Bella was instrumental in securing several key points for her club team this season. Watching her live is a thrill, and she has firmly established herself as a major talent in the class of 2026. She consistently brings both high energy and exceptional skill to the court. A dynamic player, she effectively executes various attack types from the middle position and excels defensively with impressive blocking abilities. Her agility and quick transitions off the net allow her to hit more frequently than many of her peers in the same position. With her current trajectory, she is set for an outstanding junior year.   [player_tooltip player_id='543103' first='Rachel' last='Purser'] | MB | Coronado HS | Committed to University of Hawaii   #8➡️#4   Rachel had an outstanding year in both school and club volleyball. She ranked 15th in the state for hitting percentage, recorded over 200 kills, tallied 38 blocks, and served 28 aces. She carried that momentum into club play and was invited to the prestigious UA Next Camp. With a sharp volleyball IQ, the ability to execute multiple plays, and strong passing skills, Rachel excels in all aspects of the game. She's poised for another remarkable season as she enters her junior year. At school, she led her team with 211 kills, adding 148 digs and 38 aces. As a starter on a highly skilled club team, she contributed crucial kills and defensive digs throughout the season. She has a great volleyball IQ and uses it to run up the score. She boasts a great serve and her attacks power through blocks whether she is on front or back row. She is one of the top six-rotation players in her class.    [player_tooltip player_id='543923' first='Tristyn' last='Roberts'] | OH/MB | Faith Lutheran HS | Uncommitted   #26➡️#24   Tristyn showed significant growth over the club season, emerging as a strong hitter with a powerful swing, capable of racking up kills from both the front and back rows. Initially, I followed her as she primarily played outside hitter, but by Nationals, she had transitioned to middle blocker. She adapted quickly and proved she can excel in any role. As a junior, Tristyn will be taking on the middle position for the highly talented Top Flight team next season. I had the chance to observe K several times this summer, where she showcased a range of high-level skills including setting, defensive specialist duties, and even front-row attacking. Her dedication to volleyball is evident in her willingness to master multiple positions, ensuring she remains a key presence on the court. Sawyer consistently puts in extra effort to develop as an athlete.
