Our Class of 2026 Player Rankings were updated this week.

This class is very potent and already racking up a lot of Division 1 college commitments.

The outside hitters in this class all have high ceilings. Here's a closer look at the position.

Current Top 5

1. [player_tooltip player_id='226886' first='Gabby' last='DiVita'], GP South/Legacy

There isn't a situation that DiVita hasn't faced, and shined in. Since she was in eighth grade, she's been facing off with the best in the nation and proving she can outshine them. The Nebraska commit has won national titles as not only a lead hitter, but a dominant one. She's got all the tools to excel at the next level.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='226882' first='Karis' last='Chatfield'], Jenison/FaR Out

Chatfield really broke out as a sophomore, helping Jenison get itself in the mix in Division 1. She built on that with a great club season and is now committed to East Tennessee State. Chatfield plays with a nice mixture of power and finesse, while showing a high court IQ to make impact plays on the fly.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'], North Branch/Michigan Elite

Deshetsky has managed to be one of the best players the proud North Branch program has seen. As a freshman, she joined a veteran roster and proved to be the best among the bunch. Since, she's growth in her skills and confidence. She's been up against many of the best and holds her own. Deshetsky is currently committed to Wofford.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='226876' first='Finley' last='Arp'], South Christian/FaR Out

Arp is listed as a RS, but we need to acknowledge her play in this list of outsides. The 6-footer has the ability to dial up some powerful shots and play some aggressive lines. She battles against elite hitters in the Grand Rapids-area all year, but is proving to perhaps be the best of the bunch.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='226906' first='Reagan' last='Lesley'], Chippewa Valley/Michigan Elite

Lesley is able to play anywhere along the net and finish at a high rate. Her hang time is up there with anyone in the class and she likes to put a stamp on a point when she gets the chance. Lesley's defensive play has shown a lot of growth as well, making her a viable college prospect.

Others To Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'], Lake Fenton/Legacy

Similar to Arp, Ferrill is listed as a RS, but she can do everything on the floor. She can play setter, hitter and defender. At 6'1” Ferrill moves smoothly around the floor and is able to use her length to capitalize offensively and defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='478074' first='Sarah' last='Pippin'], Edwardsburg/NIVA

Pippin is a name flying under the radar in the state. One of the leading players in Southwest Michigan, Pippin can rack up kills in a hurry. She's getting a chance to really shine this fall for Edwardsburg, so expect a lot of impressive film to come out on her this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='220968' first='Quinn' last='Yenshaw'], TC St. Francis/FaR Out

Yenshaw was a big reason that the Gladiators were able to make a run to the Division 3 championship match last fall. At 6'0”, Yenshaw has some size and length that isn't easy to come by for smaller schools. She's a big force at the net, both with her power swings and her blocking ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='226896' first='Madison' last='Geer'], Frankenmuth/Legacy

Geer is coming into a primary role this fall, so we should get a real sense of just how talented she is. Her sister was a dominant outside and Madison shows that same intensity and desire to be great. Geer is a player that you never have to question whether she left it all on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='446702' first='Elise' last='Hiemstra'], Country Day/Legacy

Hiemstra has caught a lot of eyeballs in the last year. A Columbia commit, the 6-foot Hiemstra is showing a complete game. Her attacks have a nice mixture of speeds and locations, and her court awareness has made big gains. She's also putting a lot of work into her defensive play to become a polished six-rotation option.
