I've previewed some of the top-performing 2028s I've watched during the playoffs. Let us peek at some 2027s who've performed well during the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='485570' first='Eden' last='Robart'] – 6'0" – Outside – Potosi

Eden took over while her big sister was out, and she turned into the next beast for Potosi. In the last six matches, she's averaging 14 kills. Eden is a big, strong middle/outside who has the potential to be a great six-rotation outside for the Trojans. Potosi wants to win the district title against Ste. Genevieve, Eden will need at least 15 kills to give her team a chance to win it. Potosi is 0-2 against the Dragons this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='729704' first='Dorothy' last='Durrill'] – 6'3" – Middle – MICDS

May has taken the Rams to brand new territory this year. May had an outstanding match against Villa Duchesne in the school's first district title. She finished the game with a .432 hitting percentage with 21 kills on 44 attempts. If MICDS wasn't to make its first final four, May needs to average 40 attempts per match. If they can give her the ball, the Rams will be in an excellent position to keep its final four hopes alive.

[player_tooltip player_id='544666' first='Giselle' last='Stoeva'] – 6'0” – Outside – Ladue

Giselle is a tremendous asset for Ladue. She is a tall, powerful outside who can attack from anywhere on the court. She gives the Rams a solid outlet in the back row and can play defense and pass like a libero. She will develop into a monster on the outside, and if Ladue wants to win the district title over John Burroughs, Giselle needs to hit for a higher percentage than the previous meeting.

[player_tooltip player_id='475322' first='Kate' last='Sherry'] – 6'0" – Middle – St. Pius X

Kate was an integral part of the Lancers, finishing second last year in Class 4 playing opposite. This season, she moved to the middle and is performing exceptionally well. In her team's semifinal district win over Festus, Kate hit .438 with nine kills on 16 attempts. Kate will develop into a big-time offensive threat and help the Lancers keep their title hopes alive.

[player_tooltip player_id='545157' first='Sophia' last='Kaburakis'] – 5'11" – Middle – St. Joseph's Academy

If you know anything about the history of St. Joseph's Academy volleyball program, Sophia's mother was the best. You can see some of her mother's play in her. Sophia hits in the middle and the outside, and she is an excellent blocker in the middle. If the Angels want to pull the district championship upset of St. Pius X, Sophia will need another big game.
