Mojave River League, High Desert Battles Part III

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mojave River League has six schools in their conference; Apple Valley, Burroughs, Hesperia, Oak Hills, Serrano, and Sultana. Their league is part of the CIF Southern Section and although Burroughs is located in Ridgecrest, they are a part of the battles in the high desert. The volleyball rivalry in the Mojave River League has been competitive. The second round of play has ended, meet some of the Hesperia players below. Her quickness and impressive vertical allow her to be a constant threat at the net, while her strong swing from both the left and right sides—and from the back row on the pipe—makes her a go-to option in any situation. She excels offensively and defensively as an all-around player, showcasing agility and power. Her ability to swing with power from the middle, left, and right sides makes her a versatile offensive weapon, but her strong, nearly unstoppable hits truly set her apart. When she gets on top of the ball and drives it down with force, defenders have little chance to react. On defense, her intimidating blocks make her a wall at the net, shutting down opponents and shifting momentum in her team's favor. With aspirations to play at the next level, La'Brejai's mix of height, power, and versatility make her a standout player to watch.
