<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='212437' first='Leah' last='Campbell'] is all over the backrow! She is enjoyable to watch because it is almost as if she uses her body as a shield to keep the ball off of the floor. The thing I like most about Campbell in the defensive role is that she covers tons of ground when she is back there. She takes up space on the court, making it almost impossible for her opponent to find a hole to score. Because of her quick reaction time, Campbell is great at reading and picking up tips sent over from her opponents. There is not one position in the back that Campbell can't play. She is speedy in left back, reads the hitters well in middle back, and dominating out of right back. Not only is Campbell a defensive stud, she has a lethal deep float serve that would be nightmare to an opponent's serve receive. Campbell is a scrappy defensive specialist that you will definitely want to keep your eyes on.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='240334' first='Olivia' last='Brand'] is a versatile player that brings success to her team in the back row and front row. Defensively, Brand is exceptional at tracking the ball and lining up with her opposing hitter. Brand is successful at defense because she relies heavily on moving her feet and passing from her midline, resulting in beautiful passes right to her setter's hands. Brand shows a high level of knowledge with the ability to make quick decisions on defense if she should meet the ball with her platform or use her hands. With an opposing hitter smashing the ball at her, Brand exhibits a large amount of confidence by being fearless and absorbing the ball nicely. Offensively, Brand is destructive in the outside position. She exhibits a broad transition and is exceptional at tooling a block. Brand is 2025 prospect that you will want to keep on your radar!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='212431' first='Maddy' last='James'] is ranked 41st best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to Prep Dig Oklahoma State Rankings. James plays beautiful defense that I would describe as “textbook” defense. She is constantly low on defense, hands out in front of her, and ready to make that play. With being prepared to make a play, she completes every play by moving quickly and getting to the ball, rarely having to dive. James dominates the middle back position and exhibits a high IQ on the court by reading her opposing hitters well and adjusting to whatever they may send her way. At the serve line, James consistently implements a killer deep float serve that she has mastered. Just when her opponents think it is sailing out the back, it drops right on the end line, giving her a high number of aces. James is a defensive player that would make any hitter mad.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='212433' first='Lauryn' last='Weber'] is a defensive specialist who makes the job look easy. At first glance, it appears she is always in the right place at the right time. However, that can be credited to Weber's quick movement and exceptional reading of the hitter abilities. Weber is a defensive specialist who does whatever it takes to keep the ball in play. Weber's front row does a great job of slowing down swings from their opponents. With that effective touch on the block, Weber is always right there to play the ball right off the block. Her quick reaction to a change in direction from the ball sets her apart from most. It is clear that Weber has what it takes to play at the next level. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A communicative defensive specialist is gold to have on a team and that is exactly who [player_tooltip player_id='228761' first='Alison' last='Dotolo'] is. Coming in ranked at 38th in her class according to Prep Dig Oklahoma State Rankings, Dotolo is a fun to watch in the backrow. Doloto brings high energy on the court, she is always hype for her teammates after a big point. Dotolo displays great communication skills, constantly talking to her teammates about what is coming across the net. Some may say the middle back position is difficult to play due to the amount of floor to be covered, but Dotolo executes it effortlessly. She exudes confidence back there, always placing her body in the split of the block to pop the ball up beautifully. The way that Dotolo plays deep balls so nicely out of middle back makes her the ideal candidate to put back there. Not only is she a defensive weapon, she has a destructive float serve that will drop right in front of her opponents. Make sure to keep your yes locked in on [player_tooltip player_id='228761' first='Alison' last='Dotolo'].</p>
