If you want to win a Class 2 championship at some point, you will have to beat Hermann, which is a challenging feat. Fair Grove, the defending champions, knocked off Hermann in last year's final with a nip and tuck 5th set victory. Hermann and Fair Grove would meet this year in the semifinals. Bishop LeBlond made their 2nd straight trip, and St. Vincent returned to the final four after a decade absence. Here are my picks for the final four all-tournament teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='493046' first='Shea' last='Skouby'] – 2025 – 6'0" – Middle – Fair Grove

Shea was the best middle in the tournament and proved it repeatedly. In the finals, she finished with 11 kills, two aces, eight digs, and three blocks. To start the game against Hermann, Shea provided key kills to finish with 14 kills, two aces, and 12 digs. It's impressive to average a double-double of 12.5 kills and ten digs for the six-rotation middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='232218' first='Rilyn' last='Conard'] – 2026 – 5'9" – Outside – Bishop LeBlond

Rilyn is a repeat all-tournament team from last year. In the semifinal win over St. Vincent, Rilyn hit .387 with 15 kills and 15 digs. During the championship loss to Fair Grove, she once again led her team in kills with ten, added three aces, and had six digs. Rilyn will look for three consecutive trips to the final four next season.

Greta Arnett – 2025 – 5'9" – Outside – Fair Grove

One of Fair Grove's consistent players all season, Greta contributed to her team's championship win with seven kills, three aces, ten digs, and one block. In the rematch of last year's title match with Hermann, Greta finished with six kills, three aces, five digs, and three blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='735242' first='Sofee' last='Garrett'] – 2026 – 5'9” – Outside – Fair Grove

Sofee was Fair Groves' second-leading attacker in kills during the season and will be one of only a few returners for next season. In the semifinal win over Hermann, Sofee was one kill away from a double-double, finishing with nine kills, one ace, 11 digs, and two blocks. Sofee finished with five kills, two aces, seven digs, and three blocks in the championship match.

Jaelee Kahler – 2026 – 5'10” – Setter – Hermann

Jaelee came into the season having to replace some big shoes at setter and did many great things in the final four. She would finish the weekend with 67 total assists, finishing the tournament as the top Class 2 setter.

[player_tooltip player_id='493022' first='Kennedie' last='Witthaus'] – 2025 – Libero – Hermann

I'm not sure when Hermann came to state and didn't win at least one game. Kennedie was all over the court. She led the Class 2 field in digs with 52 and ended her career with 1398 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='225325' first='Kate' last='Rubel'] – 2026 – 5'10” – Outside – St. Vincent

Kate's play was one of the bright spots for St. Vincent in the semifinal round. She led the team in kills with nine, two aces, two digs, and one block. In the third-place 5-set win over Hermann, she again led the team in kills with 14, four aces, seven digs, and one block.

[player_tooltip player_id='737648' first='Ashton' last='Bell'] – 2025 – 5'8” – Outside – Fair Grove

Ashton played a monster match in last year's championship match and helped Fair Grove win. This time, she was once again a steady contributor, finishing with seven kills, one ace, and ten digs. In the title match, her defense shined and finished with ten more digs to go with three kills.

Ashlyn Huhges – 2026 – 5'10” – Middle – Hermann

Ashlyn was one of my favorite players in last year's Class 2 final four. She played her best two matches on the biggest stage. This season, Ashlyn finished with 24 kills and three blocks.

MVP – [player_tooltip player_id='349621' first='Brooke' last='Daniels'] – 2025 – 5'6" – Setter – Fair Grove

Brooke showed me all weekend why she is my MVP for Class 2—she is a tremendous athlete who has won multiple state volleyball and basketball championships. The semifinal match with Hermann was a rematch of last year's state title match. In the sweep of Hermann, Brooke dished out 33 assists and added 14 digs and four kills. She would add five kills, 26 assists, one ace, and seven digs in the championship match. She leads her team to back-to-back Class 2 volleyball titles and a 41-0 record.
