Class 3 was wide open after the three-time defending champion Blair Oaks got knocked out in districts. Whoever got hot and stayed that way would take home the title. You had newcomers in Potosi and Odessa meeting in one semifinal, and then Eldon and Rogersville, who had made the tournament 22 times prior. In the end, the newbies ended their season with wins. Here are my picks for the Class 3 all-tournament team.

[player_tooltip player_id='737598' first='Carsyn' last='Yount'] – 2025 – 5'3" – Setter – Potosi

You can only have big bombers with a sensational setter feeding the ball to them. In her first final four, Carsyn finished with 69 assists and 13 digs, helping her team win their first state volleyball championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='485570' first='Eden' last='Robart'] – 2027 – 5'10" – Outside – Potosi

Eden is one part of the dynamic Robart duo for the Trojans. In the semifinal match, Eden finished with 11 kills and 14 digs. In the championship match win over Rogersville, Eden put down ten kills, three aces, ten digs, and four blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='515744' first='Macyn' last='McCarthy'] – 2027 – 5'2" – Libero – Potosi

It was Potosi's first final-four appearance, and they brought home the title. Macyn gave her team great passing and a terrific defense and finished the tournament with 24 digs.

Taylor Wray – 2026 – 5'7" – Libero – Rogersville

Taylor was a fun player to watch. A very active libero takes up a lot of court in passing and covers the court well. In the semifinal win over Eldon, Taylor finished the match with 18 digs and added eight more in the finals.

[player_tooltip player_id='737560' first='Addie' last='Goff'] – 2025 – 5'9" – Opposite/Setter – Rogersville

The Wildcats knocked off Eldon in the semifinals, and Addie played a massive part in giving her team the victory. She finished the semifinal with 14 kills, 12 assists, and 10 digs, which gave her a triple-double. Addie had nine kills, 11 assists, and 11 digs in the finals, giving her a triple-double average of 12.5 kills, 10.5 digs, and 11.5 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='490113' first='Kali' last='Adamec'] – 2026 – 6'1" – Outside – Odessa

The Bulldogs' big outside has led the team all season. In the third-place win over Eldon, Kali hit .471 with 19 kills. Kali also had nine kills and nine digs in the semifinal loss to Potosi.

Rylee Hicklin – 2026 – 6'1" – Middle – Odessa

Rylee was one of my favorite players to watch in Class 3. During the final four, Rylee had 11 kills on .526, hitting with two aces and a block in the 3rd place win over Eldon. In the semifinal loss to Potosi, Rylee hit .348 with eight kills. She would average a .429 hitting percentage for the tournament and only had one hitting error.

[player_tooltip player_id='737573' first='Lanyn' last='Sisk'] – 2025 – 5'7” – Setter – Odessa

You could see it on her face the entire time she played. Lanyn was enjoying the moment in her final season with Odessa. The best setter in program history finished her final four with five kills, 67 assists, and nine digs. Lanyn averaged 11.2 assists per set.

[player_tooltip player_id='735218' first='Hailey' last='Buckman'] – 2026 – 6'0" – Middle – Rogersville

The bright lights shone, and Hailey stepped up to get her team to the championship match. In the loss to Potosi, Hailey had nine kills on .333 hitting, with five aces and three blocks. In the semifinal win over Eldon, she contributed eight kills, one ace, five digs, and two blocks.

MVP - [player_tooltip player_id='170045' first='Ava' last='Robart'] – 2025 – 6'0" – Outside – Potosi

Ava was unstoppable while leading her team to their first-ever state championship. The hard-hitting, super finesse attacker does more than just hit. She controls every aspect of the game for her team. In the semifinal win over Odessa 25-21, 25-23, and 25-23, Ava hit .377 with 26 kills and added eight digs. In the championship sweep of Logan-Rogersville, she was just as impressive with 25 kills on .328 hitting and ten digs. Odessa and Rogersville had difficulty stopping Ava, and her variety of shots made her my MVP.
