Quarterfinal 1   Farmington Knights 24-11 vs. St. Pius X Lancers 34-2-1   How they got here: Pius swept their way to the district championship match with wins over Webster Groves and Festus before facing St. Joseph's in the final. Pius had to fight like crazy to escape the district with a 16-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20, and 15-11 win.   Farmington swept through their district, winning over Sikeston, Cape Central, and West Plains to win their 26th district championship. For Farmington to upset Pius, they will need significant time to play from the passing game and flawless defense. Pius can score in bunches, and Farmington must be on top of their side out game. Pius will move on to the final with a sweep.   Quarterfinal 2   Ladue Rams 13-17-3 vs. Lutheran St. Charles 22-13   How they got here:   Lutheran won their district for the 5th straight year, sweeping St. Charles and taking out Parkway Central 3-1 before sweeping Hannibal for the title.   Ladue won the school's first district title this year, starting with a sweep over University City. In the semifinal, they knocked off Clayton 3-1 and upset top-seed Burroughs on their home court 3-1. Lutheran has more offensive weapons and does a better job on the defensive side of the ball, so it will come out with another 3-0 sweep to move on to the first final four since 2015.
