The class of 2028 is shaping up nicely, with a ton of talent all over the state. Here are some of the 2028 players that made impacts at this year's final four.

[player_tooltip player_id='730103' first='Maya' last='Acosta'] - 5'9" - Middle - Bishop LeBlond

Maya played in every match this season for LeBlond and finished 4th on the team in kills. She has the potential to be one of the next big stars to come out of the Eagles program. Her footwork is solid when moving to the pins for blocking, and she is aggressive at the net and isn't afraid to get after it.

[player_tooltip player_id='729553' first='Emily' last='Conz'] - 5'7" - Setter - Bishop LeBlond

Each season, LeBlond has a freshman come in and significantly impact her team. Emily is this year's player. The starting setter helped run the 6-2 offense, finishing with 429 assists. The two-way player also finished with 102 kills and 183 digs. A setter with great hands who can play tough defense.

Eve Litton - 5'7" - Middle - Potosi

The Class 3 champions received a lot of help from Eve. Used more as a defensive player, Eve finished second on the team in blocks and fourth in kills. A high volleyball IQ and understanding of her role will help Eve become a big Potosi player.

[player_tooltip player_id='730133' first='Maddie' last='Breitling'] - 5'2" - Odessa

Another player who has played on varsity all season and made significant contributions on the defensive side. A tough right-back defender with a great serve. Could next season be Maddie's time to take control of the backcourt? That is where she could play and make the biggest impact.

Kinley Clancy - 5'9" - Odessa

When you are surrounded by a trio of 6'1" bombers, it might be hard to get your opportunity to shine. Kinley has the potential to make a much bigger offensive contribution to the team next season. The work she will put in during the offseason will help Odessa make a return trip to the final four next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='729456' first='Miah' last='Omoike'] - 6'1" - Platte County

Miah is already a tough middle for the Pirates, who finished second on the team in kills with 254 and led the team in blocks with 66. She's already got great height, solid footwork, and a tremendous amount of power in her swing. Mark this down: Miah will develop into a monster middle for the Pirates.

[player_tooltip player_id='630719' first='Samantha' last='O'Day'] - 5'5" - Lutheran

The libero for the Cougars was a massive piece of Lutheran's success in making a final-four appearance. Samantha led her team all season in digs with 365. Her improvement over the years is inevitable, as she has a family history of top-notch volleyball players.

[player_tooltip player_id='730130' first='Landrie' last='Vogt'] - 5'7" - Jefferson City

Landrie's potential to be the starting libero next season for the Jays is strong. The defensive dandy has played all season and done an outstanding job, finishing with 148 digs. Landrie is a quick defender, and her passing is on point. With more experience in the off-season, she could take the libero position next year.
