Prep Dig Iowa Elite All-State Team 2024

Another awesome high school volleyball season concluded earlier this month with the state tournament in Coralville. Many of Iowa's top prep performers showed out at the event as they had all year.   It's time to roll out postseason honors here at Prep Dig Iowa. We'll get started with the Elite All-State team:   [player_tooltip player_id='207016' first='Baileigh' last='Carlsen'], SR, L, Ankeny   Also a CIML stalwart, Carlsen registered 525 digs in helping the Hawks reach the state tournament before heading off to Auburn.   [player_tooltip player_id='230661' first='Ellah' last='Derrer'], JR, MH, Davenport Assumption   One of the most imposing middle hitters around, Derrer produced 250 kills (.395) and 101.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='189864' first='Annalise' last='Grant'], SR, L, Dowling Catholic   Off to Iowa State next year, Grant came up with 414 digs as a senior playing in the state's top conference.   [player_tooltip player_id='217136' first='Maliyah' last='Hacker'], SR, OH, Bishop Heelan   Heelan captured the 4A championship with Hacker helping everywhere on the court. She had 426 kills (.284), 281 digs and 45.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215465' first='Reagan' last='Hanfelt'], SR, MH, Ankeny   The Iowa State commitment completed her senior year with 305 kills (.392) and 111.0 blocks and 100 digs. [player_tooltip player_id='215387' first='Sydney' last='Huber'], SR, S, Mount Vernon   Huber topped the state with 1,292 assists. She also contributed 69 kills (.496), 114 digs and 32.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='243182' first='Isabelle' last='Kremer'], JR, OH, Pleasant Valley   The Spartans claimed the 5A crown with the powerful Kremer hammering out 348 kills (.394), while adding 154 digs and 24.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215389' first='Sydney' last='Maue'], SR, RS, Mount Vernon   The Arkansas pledge pounded out 356 kills (.439), picked up 190 digs and had 58.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215385' first='Chloe' last='Meester'], SR, OH, Mount Vernon   The sensational senior led the Mustangs to the Class 3A state title with 575 kills (.461), 240 digs and 27.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215464' first='Delaney' last='Miller'], SR, OH, Ankeny Centennial   One of the best players in the state this decade, Miller powered the Jaguars back to state with 374 kills (.273), 288 digs and 31.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='261094' first='Reese' last='Naeve'], JR, OH, Iowa City Regina   Naeve, an Iowa State commitment, paced the state with 753 kills (.320). She added 343 digs and 17.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215462' first='Katie' last='Quick'], SR, S, Ankeny Christian   Quick anchored Ankeny Christian to another 1A title with 912 assists, 222 kills (.473), 275 digs and 26.0 blocks.     [player_tooltip player_id='215426' first='Molly' last='Shafer'], SR, OH, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont   Shafer ranked second in the state with 690 kills (.520), and also contributed 315 digs and 39.0 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='215742' first='Carly' last='Wazac'], SR, RS, Cedar Rapids Prairie   Wazac ended up with 423 kills (.337), 216 digs and 83.0 blocks in a dominant senior season.
