<p>Another awesome high school volleyball season concluded earlier this month with the state tournament in Coralville. Many of Iowa's top prep performers showed out at the event as they had all year.</p>

<p>Also a CIML stalwart, Carlsen registered 525 digs in helping the Hawks reach the state tournament before heading off to Auburn.</p>

<p>One of the most imposing middle hitters around, Derrer produced 250 kills (.395) and 101.0 blocks.</p>

<p>Off to Iowa State next year, Grant came up with 414 digs as a senior playing in the state's top conference. </p>

<p>Heelan captured the 4A championship with Hacker helping everywhere on the court. She had 426 kills (.284), 281 digs and 45.0 blocks.</p>

<p>Hayes led the [program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='Lancers' last=''] to the 4A title last year and helped them return to the state tournament with 409 kills (.355)167 digs and 30.0 blocks in '24.</p>

<p>One of the best players in the state this decade, Miller powered the Jaguars back to state with 374 kills (.273), 288 digs and 31.0 blocks.</p>

<p>Naeve, an Iowa State commitment, paced the state with 753 kills (.320). She added 343 digs and 17.0 blocks.</p>

<p>Quick anchored Ankeny Christian to another 1A title with 912 assists, 222 kills (.473), 275 digs and 26.0 blocks. </p>

<p>Shafer ranked second in the state with 690 kills (.520), and also contributed 315 digs and 39.0 blocks. </p>
