<p>The UIL Texas High School volleyball season has just finished and champions were crowned. We have seen some amazing accomplishments from both teams and individual players throughout this awesome season. Let's take a look at which teams came out on top and which individual players stood out for some amazing performances through it all. </p>

<p><strong><u>3A Division 1</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Champion – Bushland</strong> (25-19, 25-27, 25-13, 25-8)</p>

<p>The Falcons used a phenomenal well-balanced attack to win a state championship in dominating fashion. The super efficient scoring of Lilyann Shannon and Ambree Hatfield were just too much to handle in the championship match. Lilyann had 15 kills on a very impressive .378 hitting percentage. Ambree finished with 15 kills on a .343 hitting percentage. Ambree also had 5 digs and 2 blocks for the Falcons. Bella Babbitt chipped in 12 kills in the match. Mackenzie Sims pulled off a triple double as she had 11 kills, 24 assists, and 10 digs. Brooklyn Koenig came up huge at the net as she had 6 big kills on a whopping .667 hitting percentage and also shut hitters down with 5 huge blocks. Avery Ramos led all defenders with 34 digs in the match. </p>

<p><strong>Runner up – Goliad</strong></p>

<p>Addison Yendry led the Tigers with 14 kills on a .270 hitting percentage. Although she was very efficient, it just wasn't enough to overcome the physicality of the Falcons. Maevyn Wunsch was set 55 times and had 13 kills as a result. She also contributed to the defense with 15 digs. Isabel Sanchez filled up the stat sheet with 8 kills, 32 asists, 12 digs and one block. [player_tooltip player_id='580065' first='Sophi' last='Wallek'] added some additional firepower with 5 kills of her own. She really came up big with 4 blocks at the net. </p>

<p><strong><u>3A Division 2</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Champion – Stockdale</strong> (29-27, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21)</p>

<p>I am not sure that anyone had a better individual performance than superstar stud sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='693903' first='Leann' last='Wise']. The young fireballer rattled off 47 kills on 118 attempts for a very impressive .331 hitting percentage. Her dominating performance was capped off with 5 assists, 5 aces, 11 digs and one block. Her teammate Brianna Tomerlin added 9 kills of her own on a .278 hitting percentage. She also had 3 assists, 1 service ace, 3 digs and 3 blocks at the net. Peyton Keller showcased her play with 6 kills, 4 digs, and two blocks of her own. Setter Joslynn West dished out 49 assists and also added 21 digs out of the right back zone. Teylor Montgomery had 14 digs for the defense to go along with Jamily Zepeda who also had 14 digs in the contest. </p>

<p><strong>Runner Up - Boyd</strong></p>

<p>Addy Delgado came to play at the state tourney and used 23 kills to lead her team on offense. She also hit .383, had 2 assists, 3 aces, 10 digs and a block. She had some offensive help from Cami McIntire who chipped in 12 kills on a .323 hitting percentage. Miss McIntire also had 20 assists 2 aces and 10 digs. [player_tooltip player_id='229271' first='Emma' last='Rosier'] filled the stat sheet with 8 kills of her own, 21 assists, 1 ace, and 18 digs. Jalynn Starnes had some additional firepower with 6 kills at the net. A bright spot on defense for the Yellowjackets was [player_tooltip player_id='663339' first='Bryleigh' last='Wallace'] who had 26 digs. </p>
