<p>The UIL Texas High School volleyball season has just finished and champions were crowned. We have seen some amazing accomplishments from both teams and individual players throughout this awesome season. Let's take a look at which teams came out on top and which individual players stood out for some amazing performances through it all. </p>

<p><strong><u>1A</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Champion – Harrold</strong> (25-23, 19-25, 26-24, 25-21)</p>

<p>They were led by their superstar outside hitter Mylie Maness who had 15 kills on a .244 hitting percentage. She also had 14 digs in the match to solidify her double-double. Middle Iyona Wille contributed to their success on offense by scoring 14 kills on a super efficient hitting percentage of .258. Senior Floraya Richardson also helped to balance out the attack by tallying 10 kills of her own. Middle Emma Box also had five important kills for the Hornets. Setter Jaylee Lowe had 41 awesome assists in the impressive four set win. </p>

<p><strong>Runner Up - Neches</strong></p>

<p>Kacie Trimble led the Tigers with an amazing 31 kills. She was very hard to stop in the championship match but unfortunately it wasn't enough to overtake the Hornets. Sealy Hines added 9 kills and 14 digs while Aubrey Kincade contributed 7 kills and 19 digs for the cause. Setter Joely Jenkins had 42 assists in the match.</p>

<p><strong><u>2A Division 1</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Champion – Johnson City LBJ</strong> (25-17, 17-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-9)</p>

<p>In a five set thriller that went down to the wire, the Eagles from Johnson City were led by the impressive senior duo of Casey Loewer and Aizlyn Gorum who each contributed 16 kills and 15 kills, respectively. Casey also had 16 digs and one block while Aizlyn hit .211 and had 4 blocks in the win. Senior libero Kathryn Johnson had a superb day in the back row with 29 digs. Setter Ava Craig dished out 24 assists and had 12 digs of her own. Kinlee Fiero caught fire a few times and finished up with 11 kills on 41 attempts. Maddy Hacker was also helpful on offense with 5 kills. </p>

<p><strong>Runner Up - Wink</strong></p>

<p>Super senior outside hitter Aizlyn Dewberry would not let her team go down without a valiant effort on offense as she led all scorers with 33 impressive kills on an efficient .266 hitting percentage. She got some help from senior middle Aylssa Smith who had 8 kills and star sophomore Khloe Mendoza who had 4 kills, but it wasn't enough to overcome the balanced attack of the Eagles. Their back row was led by the brilliant defense of junior libero Delaney Dodd-Fernandez. Setter Taylor Garduno led her team with 27 assists on the day. </p>

<p><strong><u>2A Division 2</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Champion – Crawford</strong> (22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 19-25, 15-5)</p>

<p>The Pirate offense was stellar and they were led by superstar senior Hattie Hayes who had 20 kills on a .183 hitting percentage. She also had 20 digs in the back row and one block. Senior outside hitter Bre Featherston added 8 kills, 18 digs, and 3 massive blocks. Cassyn Aguirre added 8 kills on a very efficient .286 hitting percentage. [player_tooltip player_id='535645' first='Ella' last='Connell'] stuffed the stat book with 6 kills, 7 aces, and 23 digs. Setter Blair Keith distributed the ball magically with 45 assists. Laney Elmore added 23 digs for the Pirates as they battled for the five set victory. </p>

<p><strong>Runner Up – Iola</strong></p>

<p>The Bulldog offense was led by [player_tooltip player_id='510421' first='Sydney' last='Nevill'] who led all scorers with 24 kills on a whopping .333 hitting percentage. She had help from Shaylee McKown who had 10 kills and Cami Hoyle who chipped in 8 kills. Their defense was super stellar and kept them in the entire match. Rylee Godney and Ava Bessette had 20 and 23 digs, respectively. Rylee also ran the offense and dished out 37 assists to her squad. </p>
