What’s On Prep Dig Nebraska’s December Agenda?

This "in-between" period ought to be filled with important activity on the site as we look ahead to another exceptional year of coverage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's give everyone a sneak preview of our agenda in Month 12 of 12.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Nebraska's Top 250 Expo</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The winter expo season is coming, and we couldn't be more excited to host another showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We'll be in La Vista on Dec. 7 to cover the latest iteration of the Nebraska Top 250 Expo series. There's still time to <a href="https://events.prepdig.com/e/1293/register/nebraska-top-250-expo">sign up</a>, and you can <strong>use code <em>KingsleyDig2024</em> for a discount on the registration fee</strong>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These showcase events are the perfect bridge between competition seasons on the volleyball calendar. It allows players to stay loose and hone their skills during a slower period on the calendar. It's also a way for us to scout athletes for future rankings consideration. More on that in a moment.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nebraska has set a high bar for the quality of showcase events across the Prep Dig map. Let's back that up again next week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">New Rankings</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Time for the next rankings overhaul.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>December is an ideal time to update our rankings. The dust has settled on the high school season, and we have a full sample size of matches to work from. Stock risers and new additions will remain a focal point of our upcoming updates.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>How far will the 2027 ranked list expand? It's hard to say precisely where we'll land, but the current Top 25 could double in size by the time we're done with our new release. Seeing the 2027s go through an entire sophomore campaign has left us with so many worthy players to put in the mix.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And, of course, we have the 2028s. We're planning on releasing our inaugural 2028 watch list for this December release. A select few freshmen made their presence felt this fall, and we also have a decent grasp on some 2028s from 14U Nationals. We'll spend our downtime compiling rosters for the club season, and it's bound to be a challenging task with so many changes happening around the Great Plains Region. Players are moving around, finding new teams, and making big transitions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So, before the madness starts, we'd love to have your club rosters.
