Class 2 is a middle heavy in the 2027 class, but we have some pin hitters that will also be in the mix for next year. Here is my list of some of the top pin hitters for the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='485596' first='Camryn' last='Atha'] – 5'7" – Mid-Buchanan

Camryn was the top kill leader for Class 2 2027 pins with 298, a 112-kill improvement from her first season. A six-rotation is part of the youth movement at MB, and I look forward to her coming back from OVC with a more refined skill set. Camryn is already in the MSHSAA record books for attack attempts in a season.

[player_tooltip player_id='485587' first='Jacie' last='Kassanavoid'] – 5'9" – Lathrop

The dual sports star at Lathrop finished her season with 275 kills and 288 digs. The all-conference and all-district performer is the team's top player and hits with a ton of power on the left pin. Whatever sport Jacie is playing, her potential for the next level is available.

[player_tooltip player_id='485589' first='Grace' last='Lynch'] – 5'5" – West County

Grace is a jack of all trades, as she is the Bulldog's best attacker, digger, and setter. Ending her second season as a starter with 274 kills, 348 digs, and 190. Grace is a big vertical with hang time that allows her to pick and choose her spots. She is also one of the top setters for the 2027 class in Class 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='732887' first='Lily' last='Chandler'] – 5'7" – Senath

Not many will know the school's name because Senath isn't known for its volleyball program, but Lily is doing her best to change that. The powerful left-pin hitter finished the season with 267 kills and 198 digs. Lily's improvement in the offseason will help her become a more potent threat next season.

Mandy Miller – 5'7" – Russellville

The Southpaw plays the opposite for Russellville and made one of the more considerable kill improvements from her first season, with 157 kills improvement to finish with 187 kills. With work in the offseason, Mandy will return ready to blast from the correct pin and help her youthful team fight for a district title.

Addyson Massa – 5'7" – Woodland

Addyson played sparingly in the front row last season but was solid defensively. This season, she was called on to play six rotations and finished in the top 10 in kills for pins in the 2027 class with 186 and 342 digs. Addyson's speed and athletic ability in the backcourt will keep her in the lineup, and her improvement in the offseason will keep her playing six rotations.
