The Spaulding University commit gave everything she had for the Cardinals when she took the court. Johnson (pictured) made good first touches then quickly transitioned to offense to put balls down as the Cardinals took advantage of having one of the better setters in the state. Johnson made things happen on short and long sets at the pins and in the middle. She shoved balls to open back courts of the court and mixed in hard and soft shots to different parts of the court. She constantly made things happen out of system and has a nice serve. Johnson had 329 kills, 147 digs and 49 aces this past fall, helping Taylor County go 25-11 with a Class 2A in-season state runner-up finish and a third straight 20th District crown.
