Defenders on Display at Prep Dig Top 250

We had several defenders in the building at the Prep DIg Top 250 Missouri/Kansas. I thought she got up some pretty tough balls throughout the day. She is a player who covers a lot of ground and communicates well with her backrow mates. She shined in serve receive and exhibited a solid platform and passed to location consistently. Defensively, she was strong and did a good job of getting touches on balls. Despite a heavy brace on her knee, she was very active in the back row and didn't show any fear in getting to balls. Seeing her in person this year you can see she has gotten quicker on the court and her anticipation of balls was solid. She was one of the stronger passers on the day, sending 3s to setters time and time again.
