Five 2027 Stock Risers Ahead of the Club Season

Jones is a fundamentally sound attacker on the power side pin and out of the back row. Her approach patterns build good momentum and lead to an aggressive arm. At 6'1, her control and range are tough to defend. Serving in a supporting role for a loaded St. Ursula team that won the DII state title, she has big potential and will certainly be a key factor for that program going forward as one of two sophomores for the Bulldogs. Her Tri-State 16 Blue team is one of the best in Ohio in their age group and should compete well on the national scene. Bergant will return to the club season better in all aspects of her game. Her contributions to Lake Catholic's DV state title run in 2024 were significant, including team highs of 16 kills and a .421 efficiency, in addition to four blocks. She was second on the team offensively at 2.9 k/s. At 6'1, her versatility can be a key factor as well as she can score at either pin or through middle options. You can see her compete with [program_tooltip program_id='431573' first='RockCity' last=''] this club season. The 6'1 Hurst has good upside to her game as a middle. She is relentless in her arm swing when on time around her setter. With fast an aggressive movement in the air she can put some big pace on the ball. She made a significant impact for Archbold at 1.6 k/s and in leading them defensively at 2.1 b/m. She will again compete with [program_tooltip program_id='430850' first='Toledo' last='Volleyball Club'] as a member of their 16 Black team. An ECC honorable mention selection at the end of the 2024 high school season, George is an undersized middle that can make some good things happen offensively. She was top-20 in the conference offensively at 1.6 k/s as Loveland finished 2nd in league play and with a solid 22-5 overall record. George has good athleticism and can be effective both in front of her setter and overhead off one foot. Get a look at her with [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last='']'s top 16U team. Grill was second offensively at 2.1 k/s for the Wolverines in 2024 while leading her team in efficiency at .261 and in total blocks. Earning a Chagrin Valley all-conference honorable mention nod, she has good potential to become an elite middle. She has good athleticism and when on time around her setter she uses a high elbow contact that can generate some good pace. More aggressive transition and a big approach runway will increase her impact and efficiency.
