The high school season was full of excitement, and Prep Dig Nevada was there to catch all the action. We saw hundreds of players, including familiar faces and some new stars who caught our attention after seeing them in-person. She played a pivotal role, delivering powerful kills on the outside and clutch digs in the back row. With an impressive .301 hitting percentage, she ranked 24th in the state. This team is full of top talent, and she managed to stand out with incredible passes and digs, helping the team run plays and save points in rallies. Hernandez truly excelled in her first year on varsity, averaging about 3.4 digs per set and becoming a go-to player for out-of-system setting. The lefty has a powerful swing and is a perfect fit for the opposite position. This was a great season for the junior, and I predict that in her senior season, she will dominate in multiple skill categories as she continues to sharpen her skills. The 5A Northern League Player of the Year was a huge contributor to the team's successful season and their trip to the 5A Northern League Semifinals. The 6'0" junior showcased her versatility, earning impressive stats across multiple skill categories. With a strong swing from either pin position, she proved she is more than just a hitter with some quality back row reps this year. The 6'0" pin hitter was a key contributor to Reno's 14-2 record, helping them secure the #1 seed in the 5A Northern League playoffs and a trip to the 5A State Finals. The junior played a key role in helping Doral Red Rock reach the 4A state semifinals. She recorded a career-high 40 assists in a single match and 39 assists twice, averaging about 6.2 per set. Peckham made her hitters' jobs easier with precise ball placement at the net, contributed points with over 40 aces, and picked up 50+ digs.
