[player_tooltip player_id='730103' first='Maya' last='Acosta'] – 5'10" – Middle - Bishop LeBlond

LeBlond returned to the final four and pushed itself into the title match. Maya was a big part of the offense, finishing with 147 kills. There is plenty of time for improvement, but her potential is there for a big-time player. She has a solid swing in the middle and gets to the pins fast enough to set up a big block.

[player_tooltip player_id='730109' first='Myla' last='Flinn'] – 5'10" – Middle - Mid-Buchanan

Myla is another member of the MB youth movement. She ended her first season as the top blocker in Class 2 for the 2028 class with 63 blocks. With solid height already, her development with transitioning to the pins and pressing into the opponent's court will keep her as one of the top blockers in her class.

Brinley Duckett – 5'8" – Middle - Liberty Mountain View

Liberty keeps producing top-notch volleyball players; the next one in line will be Brinley. She finished second in blocks with 46. Brinley is a quicker leaper with a long swing span. Although she might be undersized in the middle, her high attacking contact point makes up for it. She ended the season with 84 kills but primarily used for her blocking.

[player_tooltip player_id='729543' first='Dezirae' last='Braswell'] – 5'7" – Setter – Woodland

Woodland lost to eventual third-place winner St. Vincent in districts, but the season was a bust. With only two seniors on the team, the future is bright for the young Cardinals. Dezirae stepped onto the court this season and ran the offense, finishing with 827 assists to lead Class 2 2028 setters.

[player_tooltip player_id='729603' first='Annabelle' last='Adams'] – 5'4" – Setter – Arcadia Valley

The tiny but mighty Tiger setter finished her first season with 737 assists. She is a quick setter with nice hands and can play tough defense. AV will be in good shape, with Annabelle running the show for the next three seasons. Her 737 assists helped her finish second in assists for a 2028 setter in Class 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='729553' first='Emily' last='Conz'] – 5'8" – Setter – Bishop LeBlond

What do you do as a freshman setter at LeBlond? You help set your team to a Class 2 runner-up trophy. Emily is more than just the setter; she also hits in the 6-2 and finished her season with 115 kills and 487 assists. Her quickness to the ball and accuracy of the pins sets are on point. Emily will play a significant role in the success at LeBlond for the next three seasons.

Jordyn Tune – 5'6” – Setter – Liberty

Volleyball is in her blood, and she led her team in assists with 429, and that is with missing 34 sets. Jordyn will fill whatever role she is asked to fill, and this season, it was to run the offense. She is quick with a high volleyball IQ and understands the game more than most players her age. Whether she runs the offense next season or plays libero, she will excel in both positions.

Jenna Alcorn – 5'6" – Setter – Clearwater

Clearwater didn't have a great season, but next year's future is bright. Jenna has a motor that doesn't stop and has been around volleyball long enough to understand the game well. She isn't afraid to get on the ground or run through the bench to save the ball. She led the team in assists with 234 and second in digs with 200.

Peyton Hurt – 5'4" – Libero – Clearwater

Hurt is another 2028 that starts and plays a vital role for the Tigers. The starting libero finished as the team's leader in digs with 326. Peyton is another player who has a motor that won't quit and covers a lot of the court with her speed. Peyton and classmate Jenna will be four-year starters at Clearwater and hopefully get the Tigers into the playoffs before their careers end.
