Standout Junior Setters at Iowa Top 250 Expo

<p>These most experienced setters at the expo are driving the momentum of their games and putting on a show simultaneously. I love seeing how far they grow throughout their high school careers and how professional they look by their senior years. (Rob Howe/PrepDig.com) </figcaption></figure>   <p>Grennan is a 5'7" setter from Center Point Urbana High School. Grennan is a cool cucumber! Arens is a jumping and hitting setter. She has a great platform and puts the ball right where her hitters need it, but she then jumps up and tips a free ball from the back row to give it enough height to get over the block at the net. She used a surprise attack, hit a ball behind her head, and slammed it to the floor for a kill. Great athlete and fun to watch!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='730441' first='Katie' last='Hoefling']</h2>   <p>Hoefling is a 5'7" setter from Hinton High School. Hoefling was connecting especially well with [player_tooltip player_id='730480' first='Rachel' last='Borwick'], a hitter mentioned in our Top Performers, and looked great when setting. Perfect placement for high-flying hitters and her blocking was outstanding. Henderson is a patient athlete who is capable of great blocking and hard-hitting. I watched her set a hitter, go up for the block and get a touch, then get back and set the ball on the same rally. Allsup has a great vertical and an awesome platform. She moves around the court well and can easily connect with her hitters. Coghlan knows how to control what is going on in the game and sets a fast tempo. She has soft hands, a great backset, and handles the other team's hitters well with her blocking. She can dig, serve, block, and set without many issues. Her sets are so fast that her hitters get a headstart on going over the net before a block is there. Nicely done!</p>   <p></p>
