Small Town Gems Ready for a BIG Club Season – Southwest WI

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are many great volleyball players in the Midwest. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa are home to some of the best and they don't come from the large metro areas. However, one of the best parts about Harmonee is her arm. This girl is pure power. I would hate to be a defender when she is on the opposite side of the net. When she makes contact with the ball, it moves so quickly that it rarely gives defenders enough time to get their hands up.&nbsp;Harmonee was conference player of the year and also received all state honors from the WIAA this past school season. A captain on the West Salem high school team, Reichert can do it all.  She has a terminal arm, passes with ease, and has a serve that opponents hate.  She was at the top of the leader board in several categories for West Salem including kills, aces, and digs. In addition, she is quick, has good footwork, and communicates well with her teammates. At CFC, Taylor led her team in kills this past season. While she obviously can hit, she will likely will play the role of DS or libero this club season. Taryn is quick, anticipates the ball well, has great hands, and makes efficient movements to put herself in the right spot to set the ball to her hitters. Taryn will be playing with Xtreme this club season again. I have seen her get kills from the left, right, and middle and each of them is lethal. She has a heavy arm and finds space all over the court to put the ball down. She is also super quick with really good lateral movements to aid her in putting up efficient blocks. I have watched her hit tempo on a 3 and then turn around and run a slide on the next play, terminating each with ease. I can't wait to see the heads turn and the jaws drop this year when she is on the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
