Awesome Additions-2027 Rankings Update!

The Prep Dig Washington class of 2027 rankings are relatively new and will continue to change and develop as this sophomore class grows its game. There is a more significant opportunity for "new to us" players to jump into the rankings for the first time or climb the rankings as they receive more playing time or break out in a big way. The most recent update added over forty players for the first time- many are added to the Watch List in between rankings updates to keep our list as current as possible. We spotlight six new additions: a dominant beach attacker, dynamic liberos, a silky smooth S/RS, and more!    McCanna makes a high debut in the 2027 rankings update at #31 overall after propelling West Seattle to an appearance at the 3A State Tournament. The sand volleyball star hits line and angle confidently; her hard angle attack is one of the best swings in the class.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCa0_wXp4uS/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== </div></figure>     In the highly competitive 4A WESCO League, Kozodoy captured 1st-team all-conference honors at the libero spot. The sophomore is well-trained, passes with a consistent platform in serve-receive, and makes acrobatic plays regularly. Kozodoy enters the updated rankings as the #9 libero in the 2027 class.     Libey has an easy bounce in the middle, and that athleticism translates into her terrific range as a blocker. The Ridgeline sophomore works side-to-side along the net with a swing block, and she sometimes dominated defensively during the 3A State Tournament. She is up quickly as an attacker and racks up kills before the block can form.     O'Malley captured Olympic League Defensive Player of the Year after Baibgride Island's terrific season. The 2027 libero is quick enough to run down tips and shots and can hang in and pop up a playable dig against a hard swing. O'Malley executes precisely on free balls; she has a fundamentally sound drop step and passes the ball outside her midline easily.     Diaz is the #77 player in the updated rankings; she was terrific, setting the high-powered Cashmere offense this season. Diaz is physically tough; she has the grit to get on the ground for a dig and can pop up and deliver a sweet back set for a kill. The sophomore plays defenses first and can move the ball around with excellent location to find an advantageous matchup.     Worthen is a middle blocker from Black Hills. She plays with physicality at the net and has delivered timely blocks this season for the Wolves. The sophomore, who is 5'11", has good size and a developing offensive game, highlighted by a consistent arm swing and a high, solid contact point.
