She has an absolutely lethal top spin serve, earning her multiple aces. Her defense is also solid, and she has court presence unlike anyone else. Benz plays sand, which shows in a great way when she's playing indoor. She is smart with her placement when she's hitting, and utilizes different shots to earn her team points. She lines up well off her block and remains relaxed and controlled giving her setter nice high, in-system passes. She is a six-rotation outside and has a strong swing in the front row.
