Flawless Liberos at Tour of Texas 17 Invitational Division

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most competitive and anticipated tournaments in the entire club volleyball season in the state of Texas, the Tour of Texas kicked off two weeks ago in Houston, with three days of action that reunited each of the top teams in the Lone Star State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Held across seven facilities in the Houston area, the event reunited over 400 teams, spread across its ten divisions. Very quick and technical, she did great work on the backcourt for the team, giving them a lot of defensive stability. Whann was proactive in serve-receive, taking up a large portion of the court and delivering with consistency. Her ball control was truly impressive and allowed her to make some great plays on the backcourt. Holcomb displayed great mobility and excellent reflexes and reacted very well to deflect shots or tips in her zone. Her technical skills were truly impressive and allowed her to make some incredible digs and control some tough serves. Rodriguez also displayed great reflexes and was extremely mobile on the backcourt, getting touches on many balls. She tried her best to fix the team's passing issues by covering her teammates and had some success with it. A tall libero, Seibert also did a solid job on defense, getting several touches at the left back position. She plays setters for her high school team Sweeny and was able to step up and handle the second contact efficiently when necessary. Despite her team's inconsistent form, her defensive game was on point as she handled her duties very efficiently. Hopkins was a solid passer and also came up with some impressive digs, combining great reflexes and superior ball control.
