Middles who dominate the net at Tour of Texas Warm-Up

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most popular and competitive tournaments in the entire club volleyball season in the state, the Tour of Texas is coming up shortly, with the first of two stops scheduled for 2025 set to take place in Houston, from January 18-20.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend, teams from the Lone Star State that will compete in the event will have a great opportunity to test themselves at the Tour of Texas Warm-Up, which will be held at the Austin Convention Center, reuniting north of 150 teams across 11 divisions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some seriously talented Texas players will be on the court this weekend and we're presenting some of them during the week. She's a versatile prospect, who can play anywhere at the net, but has middle as her main position. Reese has excellent footwork and moves very well on the court, with long and strong steps. She sees the court well and has great vision to score off of tips when she can't produce a full swing in transition. She knows how to make an impact at the net and is typically one of the main offensive weapons of the teams she plays for. Thompson makes great use of her length and offensive reach and thrives by finding nice angles with her swings. She's one of the best middles in the state in her age group, but has also found great success playing as an outside hitter for her high school team and carrying their offense with impressive production.
