Our rankings aim to expose the maximum number of athletes pursuing the recruiting process to the chance to play at the next level. The most important guideline for our Scouts is that the rankings are a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability.

Important things to consider; Skill needed at that position, IQ, Toughness, Size, Athleticism, and Intangibles such as body language and energy. Remember, all of our scouts place slightly different levels of value on each category. If a player is more athletic, taller, or larger, that will compensate for current skill deficiencies. There's the adage that you cannot teach size and skill. If you go down the different levels of college athletics, the difference is very rarely in skill level. The biggest gaps are in size, explosiveness, and athleticism.

We have spent countless hours scouting and discussing these players in and outside the gym. Congratulations to the new additions to our 2026 Oklahoma recruiting class.

When it comes to the backcourt, [player_tooltip player_id='317563' first='Taylor' last='Rattay'] is the real deal. She gives her team endless energy, quick reactions, and a persistent mindset that motivates everyone around her. Taylor's impact on the court can't be missed, whether he's making a big dig, a perfect pass, or a hard-fought play. Her team, which is ranked in the top 50 in the country, gains a lot from how consistent she is and how she leads on defense. Taylor stands out because of how well she defends. The way she reads hitters is very good, which helps her plan charges and get ready for big digs. Because she moves quickly and stands low, she is a tough guard to beat. She is calm and technically sound when she serves and receives, making accurate passes that put her team in order. She is also great at out-of-system plays, where she uses her high volleyball IQ to keep rallies going and make attacking chances. Taylor is a great libero because she knows the court, talks to her teammates, and works hard. She makes the other players around her better. She's a rising star on defense in the class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='288990' first='Jada' last='Faulkner'] is a strong middle blocker who is new to the 2026 rankings. She has a good mix of power, speed, and court sense. She is very good at running a range of moves, from quick sets to slides, and she has great timing and versatility at the net. Because she can read the defense and place the ball carefully, she is a reliable offensive weapon who always finds ways to score, even against tough opponents. When it comes to defense, Jada is just as important. Because she moves quickly from side to side and blocks with discipline, she can close blocks well, changing and stopping strikes. She moves easily from defense to attack, which makes her an important part of fast-paced games. She is becoming a standout in her class and will be a player to watch in the years to come thanks to her height, reach, and smart in-game changes.

[player_tooltip player_id='744539' first='Landry' last='Key'] has been a big part of her team's offense. Her powerful attacks have constantly put pressure on the other team's defenses. Defenders don't have much time to respond when she has a clear line of sight. Then she fires a laser from her arm cannon. Because she can create power, she is often the first person who scores, especially when things are tight. Besides being a great attacker, Landry is a well-rounded outside hitter who helps the team in every way. She can see the court very well, which lets her change up her shots. For example, she can swing for power, tool the block, or find smart roll shots to keep defenders guessing. She can easily switch from defense to attack because she is very athletic and has quick feet. She is always ready for the next play. Landry does a good job of playing defense in the back row. She consistently passes the ball during serve receive and digs hard charges to keep rallies going. A high volleyball IQ, a wide range of skills, and a strong desire to win make her useful on both ends of the ball. She is still a player to keep an eye on in the 2026 class as she continues to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='284929' first='Charlotte' last='Nelson'] is a growing star on the right side of the court. She is strong, controlled, and aware of the court, which makes her very dangerous. Her big arm swing gives the ball a lot of speed, and she does a great job of letting it fall to her right shoulder, which makes her attack angles the best they can be. She is a steady offensive threat who keeps blockers on their toes. She can hit hard cross-court shots or go down the line. Charlotte is a well-rounded right back who helps in many ways, not just when she attacks. Because she is big and quick, she can block well and stop outside hits and key angles for the other team. She can read the game well enough to guess what will happen next, which helps her both scoring and defensively. She moves quickly in transition and is always ready to hit hard or hit smart shots to keep runs going. She keeps getting better at everything she does, and as she improves her game, she will definitely start getting more college offers, if she hasn't already. Charlotte is a right-side player to watch in the 2026 class. She has a lot of raw power and is becoming more versatile.

[player_tooltip player_id='740709' first='Isabella' last='Hinds'] is a skilled and very good setter who does best when things move quickly. She sets up her hitters in beautiful, regular ways that let them reach their full potential, whether they are running a quick middle attack or setting up a strong pin hitter. By changing the speed of the game, hiding her plans, and passing the ball with great accuracy, she keeps the defense guessing. Isabella is very good at making choices, which is one of her best qualities. She knows when to spread out the hits and when to call on her best batter in tough situations. She is a good floor leader because she can read blocks and make changes in real time. Besides her setting, she is a tough rival and a strong defender who can make tough plays to keep rallies going. She is an important part of her team's success because she is a leader, knows the court well, and can keep the game moving smoothly. She is already one of the most dangerous setters in the 2026 class, and she will only get more dangerous as she grows.
