Who has enjoyed the local tournaments Oklahoma has been having? I know I have! Never mind the hitters, who have been phenomenal in every way, showing their ability to make plays for their teams. From powerful kills to smart and strategic shots, these athletes showed they're primed to take the next step in their volleyball careers. As the early club season comes to a close, here's a look at a few of the outside hitters that stood out at this year's events.    [player_tooltip player_id='741021' first='Jordyn' last='Payne'] is a middle who brings a powerful presence at the net with her aggressive blocking and quick attacks. Running quick in the middle is her M.O. She has a strong ability to read setters and react fast to close blocks and shut down hitters. Her timing, verticle, and press over the net make her a defensive asset, forcing teams to adjust their game plan around her. Offensively, Jordyn is just as dangerous. She transitions quickly and attacks quickly giving teams no time to adjust. She likes quick ones, the slide, or finding open spots with a throw. Her ability to play fast and finish plays makes her a constant threat. Good luck with the rest of the season Jordyn and go get that bid! Her dominance at the net is unmatched as she reads the game at an elite level. She specializes in closing blocks and shutting down opposing hitters with quick reactions and strong hands. Her presence alone forces teams to rethink their offensive strategy. Offensively, Paisley is just as unstoppable. She runs a fast tempo, connecting seamlessly with her setters to hammer powerful swings. Her combination of size, athleticism, and mature play makes her not just a force now, but a player with an incredibly high ceiling. She is a blocking powerhouse, using her large reach to take away a lot of net. Her ability to read the setter and close blocks helps her determine the best blocking move. On offense, Marissa is impactful. She transitions fast and attacks with power utilizing slides and well-placed shots that keep defenses scrambling. Her timing and explosiveness make her a constant threat, and she finishes plays with confidence and strength. It will be exciting to see how she continues to grow throughout the best part of the club season!     Madison Hammer is quickly emerging as one of the best outside hitters in the state for the 2028 class, and her potential is sky-high. With her incredible skill set, she's poised to be a consistent and powerful offensive threat. What truly sets Madison apart isn't just her talent, it's the way she carries herself on and off the court. Despite being a hot commodity in the volleyball world, Madison remains grounded, showing a humility that is rare for players of her caliber. She never lets her talent turn into arrogance, always putting her team first and striving to make everyone around her better. Her calm, kind demeanor and positive attitude are infectious, lifting the energy of the entire court. Madison's leadership shines through in her ability to inspire her teammates to elevate their own game.
