Sunshine Classic Week 2 Showcase Top Performers Vol 2

We are super excited partner up with USA Volleyball and to run our Sunshine Classic Pre-Tourney Showcase in conjunction with the Sunshine Classic National Qualifier in Orlando, FL on February 21st and February 27th. It is being held at the [program_tooltip program_id='518441' first='Winter' last='Park Volleyball Club'] and live streamed via BallerTV. This article series will discuss some of the players that turned the heads of the court coaches and scouts that were in attendance from Week 2. The energy in the gym was very electric on every court. Let's see who earned the Top Performer award from the showcase.    MJ is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Georgia State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them for her state yet. She plays volleyball for Seckinger High School and currently plays for the M2 volleyball club program. Miss Lynch was such a joy to have in our showcase. Numerous coaches remarked on her awesome personality and effort level. What I loved about her play was how she used her awesome athleticism to roam the back row and frustrate all of the hitters who tried to put the ball down. She used her hands to dig high balls and showed just how talented she is with her platform for the hard driven balls. Her court vision was on another level as she kept her eyes on the play to read it before the hitter made contact. This put her in a great position to play the ball with time to spare. What makes her stand out amongst peers is how she uses amazing fast twitch reflexes and swift foot speed to make sure that she doesn't let the ball hit the floor. When she plays the game, you can tell that she truly loves it. This kind of player is exactly who coaches will fall in love with and want for their program. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award at the showcase.     Alina is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Georgia State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them for her state yet. She plays volleyball for the Greater Atlanta Christian school and also plays for the TK Volleyball Club program. Miss Phillips is a fantastic recruit for college coaches to watch for due to the length in her frame/arms, ability to play all positions along the net, and her strong whip of an arm. She battled at the net very well while blocking and has tons of upside to get better. As an attacker, we saw her light up the opposition with some lightning quick swings from both pins. At this young age, she definitely deserves a lot of looks just based on potential alone. She really can be a legit threat to score with both stuff blocks and kills at the net. Not many could match her prowess at the net and her court coaches were loving every minute of it. We are going to keep our eyes on her for the foreseeable future and we think every college coach should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.     Amia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been released yet. She plays for Wharton High School and also club for the International Volleyball Club program. Miss Kennerdy is one of those hard-nosed ballers who are ready to compete at all times. There is no doubt that all teammates who play with her trust her to never give up and always bring intensity. I love how she bounces while at her touch point to attack. It signifies that she has her high motor ready and all she wants is an opportunity to step on the gas. You can really tell that she loves the game and we loved everything we saw in her game at the showcase. If you want a tough competitor, coaches look no further. She has the power and determination of a terminating outside hitter that all coaches would love to have on their roster. The fact that she is only a sophomore should tell you that it is a great base to start out from. Her potential to get better is astronomical. We are going to recommend that you all take a look at her while she balls with her teammates. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
